OK , WHY CAN'T WE RELOCATE SOME POLAR BEARS TO SOUTH POLE ??? | |
Zerocyber User ID: 648354 United States 01/17/2010 03:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They don't eat Ice, so their food sources would change both locations and type. They'd probably get lost and starve. Another reason man should not interfere in the extintion events of our creatures. Like one island, we really messed up with the bunnies and cats... I'll look it up for you. EDIT: I apologize, I am unable to find the document to which I refered. Last Edited by Zerocyber on 01/17/2010 03:03 PM |

The storm is closing in to begin again from the beginning. Never sitting through my waking life oblivious. The ignorance running rampant through the city is indicative of something worse; this picture isn't pretty. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 687593Besides, polar bears are not an endangered species, they are doing just fine. He didn't say he wanted to save them. For all we know, he could be trying to build an underground base and polar bears keep eating his workers... They are one of the few predators to see man as a viable food source. |

But maybe the southern tip of S. America would be a good place for them. Relocation is not a bad idea actually. They do it for other species. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 825669The Patagonia has a lot penguins , seals and fish !! For the other fuckhead poster , they don't eat ice but need cold weather ! If we are interfering with its habitat we should consider a new one !! About feeding : All those Mexicans , Cubans , Filipinos ans African people never ate America food before they came here and they are doing well ..so far !! |

And will continue to do so until this solar system is done for. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 638079Why can't people accept this? anonanon User ID: 934349 United Kingdom 04/04/2010 06:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Once they start eating the penquins, there would be no more penquins. Their natural habitat is the northern hemisphere and penquins got the southern one. In some places they are thriving. In a few places not. Better they find a way to adjust themselves to the changing waters and ices than to try to relocate them in a completely different environment. Most mammals do just fine if they are just left alone and if we leave alone their food sources like the baby seals. Nature will take care of them. When the ice returns, there numbers will grow again in the areas where they are having a problem finding food. |

The seals they eat only live in the Arctic, not the Antarctic. How do you suggest the polar bear get to the Antarctic? Is he going to walk through the wheat fields of Kansas, the deserts of Mexico, and through the jungles and mountains of South America? |
