Sunday: the Moon is in Aries
Moon in Aries is often a very good time for anything that involves cutting, especially for cutting things that grow - hair, the lawn, bushes and shrubs, etc. This sign rules sharp things and activities using sharp things. When the cutting is done between a Full Moon (which is what we had on July 25) and a New Moon (which we will have on August 9), the effects will last longer. The period between a Full Moon and a New Moon is called a waning phase, meaning that energies are generally not as strong as they are in a waxing phase, the period between a New Moon and a Full Moon. Things do not grow as quickly during a waning phase, making it a better time to cut or shear or trim.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday am(*v/c): the Moon is in Taurus
There are a lot of aspects, or connections between planets, on both Wednesday and Friday this week. A lot of aspects = a lot of astrological energy in the air. The best course of action is one step at a time. This especially applies to the sign Taurus, which likes a logical, rational, and methodical approach to situations. "Is it real, practical and can I depend on it?" That is the question to pose when this sign is present.

Wednesday pm, Thursday, Friday: the Moon is in Gemini
The one-step-at-a-time course of action is helpful when the sign Gemini is present as well. Scattered energy is a possibility if or when this sign goes tilt and it's best to have parameters for reference in case things have to be reined in for whatever reason. The planet Mercury rules both Gemini (information in, information out) and Virgo (analyze details). The Moon is currently in Gemini and Mercury is currently in Virgo. So you can combine the puzzle pieces and potentially interpret this as follows: gather information, make lists, get feedback, and ponder choices. If you want to make or implement a decision, it would be best done before August 17 or after September 13 - the next Mercury Retrograde period (see below).

Friday evening, Saturday(v/c-pm): the Moon is in Cancer
Home, family, supportive friends who nurture you - all nice venues for Moon in Cancer. Oh, and don't forget comfort food! There are simply way too many ideas about comfort food, so here are a few that fall specifically under the rulership of the sign Cancer: creamy mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, buttery croissants with hot chocolate, scones with clotted cream, pudding, milkshakes (especially rich vanilla), and of course ice cream. The Last Quarter Moon creates our "inner need to initiate change" in the lunar cycle as we move into the cycle's last and transitional quarter. Our Last Quarter Moon occurs on August 2-3 in mid-sidereal Aries. The pre-Last Quarter Moon of August 2 (on the day of "Inner Need"), triggers the Mars-Pluto-Jupiter T-square, which peaks just after Last Quarter Moon (discussed below).

The Moon conjoins Achird of Cassiopeia; Beta Triangulum; and Tycho’s Super Nova Remnant of 1572 A.D., an x–ray source in Cassiopeia.

Achird asks us to realize that we create and perpetuate the very things that we perceive as trying to detour or devour us. Tycho’s Super Nova Remnant of 1572 A.D., an x-ray source in Cassiopeia lies between the ecliptical longitudes of Beta and Gamma Triangulum. Triangulum teaches us to see beyond the judgments of fear-based dualistic mind and the dramatics it produces--the apparent monster of the human condition trying to entrap us--an image upheld by the fear we buy into. Here is the statement "let thine eye become single"--to see from unity consciousness, which in turn makes it possible to rise above and beyond the "controlling verses being controlled" mentality and its subsequent entrapment.

Tycho’s Super Nova Remnant was discovered by Tycho Brache in 1572 AD in Denmark. Supernovas play a significant role in the awakening of human consciousness. Brache (Born: 5/16/1571; Died: 11/15/1630) revealed the nova was located beyond the moon and was also the first to produce a modern star guide, inspiring the movement from personality-egoic centered reality, one separate from Source (purported by the dark-age church to control the masses) to that of the durative soul consciousness which transcends the sphere of incarnate self (Earth). It certainly was a time requiring external catalyst to help awaken humanity from a dark period. For example: On August 23 and 24, 1572, 50,000 Huguenonts (French Protestants considered "heretics" by the Roman Catholic Church) in Paris and surrounding provinces were killed by Catholics in France. The massacre was called for by the queen mother Catherine de Medici and was applauded by Pope Gregory XIII--dubbed "St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre." This was during the time of the Renaissance, just after Copernicus published his heliocentric theory of the solar system in Poland (1543 AD), and just before Pope Gregory XIII introduced the Gregorian calendar in Italy (1582). It was within one year of when Johannes Kepler was born (1571). Kepler later revealed the sacred geometry (Phi progression) natural to the organization of our solar system--the music of the spheres. Kepler played a significant role in bringing to light the long-lost art-sciences.

Prior to the dark ages, planetary measurement was always referenced to the fixed stars (sidereal) as was the astrology of the ancients. Astronomy and astrology were always one and the same until the dark-age church-state astronomers began to record planetary ephemerides referenced to the moving vernal point rather than to the fixed stars, while maintaining that all other heavenly bodies rotated around the Earth--a statement certainly affirming true egoic consciousness. (This was due in part to Claudius Ptolemaeus who was employed by the church. Ptolemaeus was a mathematician, not an astronomer. Some assert he never even looked into the heavens as an astronomer would look (according to R.H. Allen: Star Names their Lore and Meaning).) To say otherwise was heresy, so only those willing to sell out to the manipulative ploys of the church-state, and perpetuate the asserted geocentric dogma of western Christendom, stayed on the pay-role and kept their heads (Actually, if you believed anything other than Earth was center, you were burned at the stake!). Here was planted the bastardization of true soul level astronomical astrology, and here began the Hellenistic tropical astrology of the dark ages which is still in vogue today. This manipulation also affirmed that people had a finite life at the end of which they would either be saved or punished depending if they followed the dictums of the controlling political-religious faction thus squelching any desire for individuals to spiritually aspire and awaken to the greater truth that they were durative, continually evolving souls; part of, not separate from a greater unified intelligence. The true and greater art-sciences including astronomical astrology, Pythagorean sacred geometry, harmonic math, and other such art-sciences, were forced underground until the later time of Nicolaus Copernicus in the 1500’s who finally triumphed in eradicating the perpetuated dogma that Earth was the center around which all other heavenly bodies rotated--the egoic head-trip of the puppet-masters of the time. From here, others would follow: Tycho Brahe, Johann Bayer, and later yet, Johann Kepler (December 27, 1571 - November 15, 1630), who, in the early 1600’s, brought forth the truth of the occulted astronomical and mathematical wisdom based in harmonic measure that had been long lost. Kepler's most famous book is "Harmonia Mundi" (Harmony of the Worlds). Kepler was a mathematician, astronomer AND astrologer (responsible for revealing the affect of many astrological aspects / harmonics). He is sometimes referred to as "the first theoretical astrophysicist." Among many prominent positions, Kepler was assistant to Tycho Brahe.

Tycho's supernova remnant inspires the expansion from egoic / victim consciousness, where we believe we are victims of other beings, ones that are responsible for our condition and ones that must come to save us from it (or devour us as food as some people believe), to realizing that we are not separate from all that is, that we are intimate and inseparable parts of this great symphonic expression of consciousness. Here we are inspired to realize we create our reality and to become responsible co-creators. Here in the "Initiatory Gate of sidereal Aries," we learn to become responsible for our human condition as well as to claim our freedom from its apparent bondage, bondage that we ourselves create.

What an intense time period we have been in and will continue to be in
all summer. There are both positive and negative vibes hitting us
right now. How you respond to this energy is how it will work out in
your life. We are in the time period we were told about years ago.
There is no more waiting for the change, we are in it, and we are the
ones we have been waiting for. It's time to transform and ascend into
a higher frequency.

The positive side is that Saturn is now out of Virgo and so is Mars.
The last month when Mars was going through Virgo it was a very hard
time period for many people. Virgo rules health, illness, and the
body. Many people became sick because they needed to transform the
negative energy being held in their bodies. In fact, this has gone on
for the past three years so hopefully we have released all criticism,
judgment, control, and fear issues from our body that needs to be
transformed so we can move into light bodies. With the planets in the
cardinal cross we will deal with more planetary issues than body
issues.

Did any of you have pain in the back of your head going down into your
neck and shoulders, either right or left shoulder, during the past few
weeks? I sure experienced the pain. I asked my guides what was going
on and got the answer your reptilian brain is being worked on or
transformed. Then I received an email talking about a new sound that
will be coming to our Solar System sometime soon. The article talks
about 'The Cosmic Unlocking Sound of the Earth Humanity Shift' and you
can find it on www.quantumlightconnections.com. There is a link on
that website call Forum. There is a Search feature within the Forum.
Search for the words: cosmic unlocking sound.

I would like to quote a part from that article. It says "One of the
powerful elements that has held humanity back is a system by which
that thought-form called by some 'the Illuminati Agenda', essentially
a suite of negative programming, has been constantly broadcast to us.
We cannot ignore this, because well over half of humanity has been
fitted (against our collective will) with a symbiotic energy structure
that acts as a receptor, placed low in the back of the head, which
ensures that we keep on listening. "The back of the head is where the
reptilian brain is located which is often called the brain stem. This
kept us locked into negative thinking with our brain instead of using
our heart to think. With the disconnecting of this reptilian brain
energy some have also felt pain or noise in their ears. This can be
quite annoying as the noise gets very loud at times. This disconnect,
or transformation is being completed right now.

The other part of the article says "There is an upcoming event that
begins and ends with a new cosmic sound that will resonate through our

also a key that allows many energy structures of a controlling nature
that have long been locked in place to become unlocked and set aside.
The new sound replaces one of a lower frequency, and in so doing it
moves the whole scale upwards. By activating a new consciousness
structure it invites and enables a return to full consciousness for
all of humanity. This key sound we refer to will be sudden, happening,
as the bible says, 'in the twinkling of an eye'. Veils will be rent
asunder; old energy-based humanity-control systems will finally
collapse and no longer be effective. The long battle for the souls of
humanity will have been won, and we shall start to have our true
selves back."

When will this sound be heard, or are we already hearing it? Time will
tell! I wrote about the sound in my August 2009 Planet Alert. At that
time we had a lunar eclipse that was lined up with Cygnus. According
to what I have read, Cygnus is where the sound of creation for our
universe comes from. In Astrology Cygnus is in Aquarius at 13 degrees.
Last year's lunar eclipse was on August 6 and the moon was on 13
degrees Aquarius. This sound event was set up to happen at that
eclipse, but it needs a trigger to activate it. I don't know when that
trigger will happen. The sun will be on 13 degrees Leo on August 6,
2010. There is a possibility this sound could be activated then, if it
hasn't already been activated. I think the exact opposition of Saturn
to Uranus at 0 degrees Aries/Libra on July 25-26 (Mayan New Year black
hole day) signified the end of one creation and the beginning of a new
one. The Sun is now in Leo, which rules the heart and unconditional
love.

Our Earth still needs to finish her cleansing and planetary-wise we
are in a very intense time period which will continue all summer. Have
you noticed how easily people get upset and lose their temper? This
past full moon seemed to be especially volatile and we are still
feeling the effects from it which will climax in the next few days as
Mars triggers the cardinal cross.

The Sun at the full moon was on 3 degrees Leo and the moon 3 degrees
Aquarius. This activated a typhoon in the Philippines, which I
mentioned in my last article. There were also three very large
earthquakes in the Philippines. We will really start feeling the
affects of this cardinal cross when Mars moves into Libra on July 29.
The areas that will be affected by the cardinal cross are Aries (Tonga
area including the surrounding islands), Cancer (Gulf of Mexico and
west coast of South America), Libra (Africa) and Capricorn (China and
the South Pacific Islands like Sumatra). China has really had a lot of
rain and massive flooding, which I also mentioned in my last article.
Right now they are worried about the Three Gorges Dam not being able
to hold all the water.

The Sun is on 18+ north declination in opposition to Pluto on 18+
south declination. This will be in effect until the end of July. Right
now there are 6 planets between 0 to 3 degrees North-South
declination. Four planets are on North declination and two on South
declination. This is called a planetary alignment and acts like a
major opposition. Zero declination equals the equator. The lower
latitudes will probably be triggered by this planetary aspect and
possibly the Sun/Pluto declination on 18 North will again trigger some
event in the Gulf of Mexico or at the higher latitude of 36 to 38
North like the oil spill in Michigan. It is already triggering China.

The aspect of Mars conjunct Saturn in opposition to Uranus, Jupiter
and squaring Pluto is very powerful and explosive. Libra is an air
sign and rules wind, Aries is a fire sign, and Pluto is in the earth
sign Capricorn. The Sun is moving through Leo right now which is a
fire sign. Fires will continue to be a challenge this month along with
some explosive energy like maybe a volcanic eruption. Pluto will be in
Capricorn for a long time so there will continue to be earthquakes
with more structures going down. Mars will make a 90 degree angle to
Pluto on August 3. This aspect can cause power struggles and a
tendency to coerce others. People may become aggressive and angry
during this period so keep your cool. Conflicts may arise over
finances, money, political affairs, or military events. This energy
can also bring natural disasters.

The Earth is going through a transformation process which has a
tendency to activate negative energy and disrupt life as we know it.
I'm sure the final outcome will be for the best of all concerned. The
other side of negative is positive and can be just as powerful. Now
that Saturn is in Libra watch how the energy changes to one of people
initiating more law suits and changing more laws. On July 16 the
Senate passed a Wall Street reform bill. This is a major
accomplishment for the people. Then on July 21 a financial bill was
passed although I'm not too sure what will come from that event
because I haven't done any research on it yet. My feeling is that it
had something to do with the Year of Jubilee that started on July 11,
2010. I guess time will tell how it all works out.

Did you know that since August 24, 2006 the Astronomers recognize
thirteen planets in our solar system? Eight of them are large planets
such as Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Mars, and
Earth. The five dwarf planets are Eris, Pluto, Ceres, Haumea, and
MakeMake. The thirteenth planet is the last one discovered which is
MakeMake. It was discovered on March 31, 2005. MakeMake was triggered
at the time of the Gulf oil spill and Mars was conjunct MakeMake when
the oil spill happened in China about a week ago. Astrology is an
interesting science. I wonder what happens in the fifth dimension when
we are free of planetary influences and will be able to create with
our superconscious mind instead of our subconscious mind. That sounds
like fun.

Remember, when the energy feels too intense, take a break and do
something fun. Joy and laughter is what we experience in the higher
vibrations. When something happens that you don't like, laugh about it
and then watch how the energy changes for the better. Love to you and

There is an upcoming event that begins and ends with a new cosmic sound that will resonate through our local Universe. It is related to ‘the music of the spheres’ which is generally understood to denote the frequencies of various planetary bodies, forming a kind of musical scale. August 01, Sunday. Traditional Lammas (loaf-mass in the Christian tradition) is celebrated now (also known as Lughnassadh pronounced Loo-nuh-suh) meaning harvest and victory. The actual solar cross quarter is August 7 when the Sun reaches the midpoint between Summer Solstice and Autumnal Equinox. In ancient Celtic and pre-Celtic times the Cross-Quarter dates were a time to celebrate the Mother Goddess. At the August cross-quarter the Sun Goddess was honored through celebrations of gratitude for the abundance of ripened grain and the Mother’s bounty. The February cross-quarter celebrated the Mother’s power to give life, the May cross-quarter celebrated her passion for life’s pleasures and the November cross-quarter celebrated her power to live through death and be born to new life. We no longer remember all the ways of the ancient festivals and ceremonies so it is up to us to create new ceremonies and celebrations in ways that honor our current times.

Saturn (1 Libra) and Mars (1 Libra 31) are visible in the evening sky less than 1 degree from each other. This month features Saturn, Mars and Venus coming together in the Libra realm. Venus enters Libra on August 6 clearly marking the area of the sky where the Autumnal Equinox Sun is rising. This entire month and for several months following we have a spectacular opportunity to redesign any limited perceptions and belief systems associated with relationship that are not aligned with the ultimate Libra intent to explore, express and help evolve the mysteries of conscious equal partnership. The place to begin, as always, is with ourselves.

In Ken Keyes book, A Conscious Persons Guide to Relationship, the very first chapter title says:

“ Develop a Relationship With Yourself Before Getting Deeply Involved with Anyone Else.”

He goes onto say that those who are addicted to relationship will continually unconsciously sabotage them or be sabotaged by them until they are finally forced to look at the relationship they have with themselves. He says:

It always requires a death of sorts to get down deep enough, death of your fond illusions, death of who you wanted to be, death of some love that's run its course.

It's not so much the truths you're aware of, but demons churning in the karmic gumbo, the soup of the soul down below, who must be faced. It's not so much the ideas you hold but their hidden roots that spawn your whole world view that must be slain by the unstoppable hand of Kali the Destroyer.

When Pluto engages this many planets in such a short time it's because the collective contract to hold ourselves back has been strained to the breaking point and it's time to die to the nightmare and get to the other side. The Dark God summons our vital force out of mass delusion into building a new world in the most crucial part of us-the primal depths within. In that dark hollow we must muster the courage to believe in something beyond the dead stories of the past. If you delve beneath those boneyards you can release your buried love for existence. You can spring your hidden core of love for the heart of the world with resurrective force.

Primal darkness, distortion and delusion are bending this way and that to snap you out of biases of the blood, free you from old karmic stories you've been following, feuding tales of loss and lack that have to give up the ghost.

Who are you really?

Are you the one waiting with infinite patience for the world to change? Are you the one who vowed to stay true to your love in the time before time? Are you sick to death at pretending to be something you're not? Who are you?

What are you here to do?

Are you here to ignite the light within you as a beacon to throw off the darkness? Are you here to claim a path of creative transformation through the end time of a false civilization? Are you here to rise above meager intellects who say it can't be done? What are you here for?

How much longer are you going to wait?

Have you run out of excuses to not be yourself or are you gonna try a few more? Are you going to let the smug lies of false experts and leaders run your life? What about the children? What further incentive do you need to soar through the rigors of incarnation as a free being?

This Plutonian sweep of the dungeons in August clears the way for the Saturn in Libra years, which began at the end of July when Saturn left Virgo. After three years stirring up the body of the Virgin, Saturn, Lord of Karma has entered the sign of Balance, where he remains until the end of 2012.

Virgo is the Get Real sign of the zodiac. Saturn in Virgo produced a necessary cleansing and purging, a self-scouring wake-up call to get us to realize how far our lives had gotten off the track of the soul. We've been summoned to get virginal by disentangling from false compromises and self-betrayals. We've been asked to gain the innocence of the child who always knew there was a simpler and purer way.

For three years Saturn's demanded we get real. Life itself has sent message after message that there are better things to do than sell your dreams for false security. Destiny has been trying to get it through our thick heads that there's a realer way to live than by lubricating the gears of a broken system. Life lessons have come thick and fast to jerk us out of mass delusion. True to Virgo, the most finely-calibrated sign, the degree of difficulty this presents to you is the precise degree your life has strayed from your inner truth and needs to be put back on track.

Now that Saturn has entered the airy Libra domain of Balance, a new phase of soul purpose is beginning and will grow stronger for the next two-and-a-half years. We're emerging out of years of self-criticism into a calling of kindred spirits to band together. We're accelerating out of Virgo's heavy earth realm of judgment toward Libra's airy realm of creative breakthrough. Having raised our awareness of what wasn't working, we're moving on to see how that too was a passing phase in the greater give and take of Universal Balance. So when imps and demons continue to poke their heads out of the woodwork now it's mostly for artistic purposes. When your awareness is drawn to how out of balance everything is, it's to ignite your creative hunger to bring something new to the world.

Between now and the end of 2012 you're invited to the great unmasking at the World Masquerade Ball. You unmask by challenging the boundaries of your imagination, pushing into open territory that transforms life into art. Let each difficulty dare you to redefine what's possible. Follow the examples of John Coltrane, the Grateful Dead at their best, and Stevie Winwood and Traffic, who blew beyond former boundaries of what music was.

Traffic created songs by living together and dropping acid and jamming for days on end with tape recorders rolling, then coming down and reviewing what they'd played, and polishing the best bits and pieces into songs they took into the studio. Each time they came out of the studio they created whole new genres, not just songs.

The Saturn in Libra years are asking you to orchestrate jagged pieces of the past into new music. The ringing gong is calling you find your tribe, claim the life you were born to live, make your life an art that's never been done before.

When a band of visionaries unites to push the boundaries of the known universe, they throw open the stuck doors of evolution for everyone. They reconfigure existence along new lines. They harness passionate devotion to the Muse into a morphic field of resonance others can enter into and there transform.
