Does wearing a Masonic Ring mean

I guess no one wants or can answer my question.

All I am asking is: What does the wearing of a Masonic ring mean to a Mason?? Is it for a signal of some sort? ...like saying ...I am here and I am at this particular level...? why do Masons were these rings...The ones with the G and the slide rules on it...thanks

I found a freemason place in my town today. It's scary because my friend and I when we were little kids used to ride around there all the time, and one time this man told us to leave. Now i know why I guess. My great-grandad is a mason, but I have no idea what the rings mean. I suppose its a way of signaling that your a mason.

No it just means they had some money to buy a ring at the Masonic wlmart so they can show off their (non) secret club. It gives them a sense of power because they are part of a so called exclusive group but really it's just more pretense and postulizing like any other religion or cult.

It is meant to denote achieving the third degree in the blue lodge (as opposed to scottish rite or shriners). The thrid degree is called master mason. You must be third degree or better in order to wear jewels (symbols)

some family memebers have these over the tail lights. they are all 32 degree. I don't really think this is a big deal but I'm not going to find out. to many people have tried to draw me into the masons. including people I didn't know talking to me in bars. girls coming on a little hard then introducing me to their mason daddies.
