Anyone we saw this on ABC news last night saw Obama bring up this poor women and then they switched to her in a HOSPIAL being TREATED for cancer. Not out on the street dying or outside her former home being kicked to the street by the sheriff. Then they cut back to the President being interviewed after the speech - the question, what would she have that she doesn't have now? The answer - insurance!

What part of SHE IS GETTING TREATMENT EVEN THOUGH SHE DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE does he not understand. Most people who go bankrupt after medical issues arn't there because of the medical bills but because they were not able to work. I had cancer - I had health insurance - I had private supplemental disability insurance. How can that be? I drive a 10 year old car I bought used - I bought my house 13 years ago in a foreclosure sale well below market price. My wife just got a "new car" - yet, it was a used car. We live below our means and save for our retirement. Our great "luxuries" are internet and sending our kids to private school.

But if we didn't - I could still have gotten treatment!
