I posted links and photos on my face, asked for them to spread around, social networking is the way to get through all the BS.

Hopefully more people can get out and take more pics.

I know if this was in my neighborhood, yall would be seeing pics everyday!

I read your post and it made think as to how this oil spill should be viewed.
Maybe we are on different pages, but I went and joined a local site, that is, as in Europe. For it seems to me as if no one really gives a shit. I searched in my local area, Ireland, and it would appear everybody and their dogs don't give a shit.
What people fail to realize is, this is not a problem for the US and their neighbourhood, this is going to become a world problem, and if I might add, on a grand scale.
So how right you are we should ALL get out on our local sites and keep telling those who will read............

We have one of our most immediate threats to our lives, and our childrens lives, and we better wake up.

this is just so so sad. I don't understand why the masses don't join together and storm the beaches and start clean up. Damn BP and damn cops and anyone standing in the way!......If cops start shooting innocent people for cleaning up the shores -that won't paint a very pretty pic. for all the evil people involved. and it won't be able to be lied about.

Thanks for the update.

bump FOR TRUTH!!!!!!

Wow you are a genius!!! Trespassing and allowing a bunch of untrained people to be exposed to toxic oil / fumes and then get sick from it, possibly die and (or) sue.

The cops aren't going to shoot you for being stupid. If you care so much instead of supporting anarchy, why don't you just volunteer for one the already established clean up crews, take the appropriate classes and stop being a anti-cop douche. I will even help you find out how to start the process.

Also, just a little info to add...

Did anyone check up on the 'put-options' that Goldman-Sachs had against BP the DAY BEFORE THE EXPLOSION?
I have no link as of yet, it may not be all that common knowledge, but you can probably check out the story at rense.com or check his archaives for this past week. I can't remember who his guest was that mentioned it. Maybe Bob Chapman, I don't think it was Webster Tarpley. Oh! It was Devvy Kidd. Her site is www.devvy.com

Apparently, there were options against the BP stock, the day before the rig explosion, in a similar manner like the airlines' stocks before 9/11. Also, the owner of the Deepwater Horizon (Like Larry Silverstein) took additional insurance coverage, in the event that an explosion (such as occured) would occur. Coincidence? Probably not, considering the same globalists think they are in control.

 Quoting: Orion 982686

A poster here made a discovery (there was a pinned thread about it) that Goldman actually dumped 44% of their holdings of BP just before the explosion.. Transocean was shorted as well, & another investment group dumped more than 70% of Halliburton immediately prior to TSHTF in the Gulf... funny how that always happens.

Great post Scrump. These BP bastards will get what's coming to them. Watching the wildlife slowly dwindle and die is heartbreaking. I live up in northern Tampa and I'm leaving the state on Monday for good. I was slated to go in 2 weeks but I just got fired, so go figure.

If I can, I plan on stopping by some of the gulf area on my way up and west to see if I can help with the volunteer effort. I've got my cam in my pack so I'll try to get some video for you guys and report on what's going on.

Keep up the good work.

They sure do... so does BP & Obama, but they're ignoring it... 85% of the escaping oil could've been sucked-up beginning the very first day.

But I guess ZERO percent is better, somehow...

Gulf Oil Spill Supertanker Solution - BP Ignoring Secret Saudi Solution

There's a potential solution to the Gulf oil spill that neither BP, nor the federal government, nor anyone — save a couple intuitive engineers — seems willing to try.

As The Politics Blog reported on Tuesday in an interview with former Shell Oil president John Hofmeister, the untapped solution involves using empty supertankers to suck the spill off the surface, treat and discharge the contaminated water, and either salvage or destroy the slick.

Hofmeister had been briefed on the strategy by a Houston-based environmental disaster expert named Nick Pozzi, who has used the same solution on several large spills during almost two decades of experience in the Middle East — who says that it could be deployed easily and should be, immediately, to protect the Gulf Coast.

That it hasn't even been considered yet is, Pozzi thinks, owing to cost considerations, or because there's no clear chain of authority by which to get valuable ideas in the right hands.

But with BP's latest four-pronged plan remaining unproven, and estimates of company liability already reaching the tens of billions of dollars (and counting), supertankers start to look like a bargain.

The suck-and-salvage technique was developed in desperation across the Arabian Gulf following a spill of mammoth proportions — 700 million gallons — that has until now gone unreported, as Saudi Arabia is a closed society, and its oil company, Saudi Aramco, remains owned by the House of Saud. But in 1993 and into '94, with four leaking tankers and two gushing wells, the royal family had an environmental disaster nearly sixty-five times the size of Exxon Valdez on its hands, and it desperately needed a solution.

Pozzi, an American engineer then in charge of Saudi Aramco's east-west pipeline in the technical support and maintenance services division, was part of a team given cart blanche to control the blowout.

Pozzi had dealt with numerous spills over the years without using chemicals, and had tried dumping flour into the oil, then scooping the resulting tar balls from the surface. "You ever cooked with flour? Absorbent, right?" Pozzi says. Next, he'd dumped straw into the spills; also highly absorbent, but then you've got a lot of straw to clean up.

This spill was going to require a much larger, more sustained solution. And fast.

That's when Pozzi and his team came up with the idea of having empty ships park near the Saudi spill and pull the oil off the water.

This part of the operation went on for six months, with the mop-up operations lasting for several years more.

Pozzi says that 85 percent of the spilled oil was recovered, and it is precisely this strategy that he wants to see deployed in the Gulf of Mexico.

"Joining the military does not mean that you will be defending the country. The purpose of the U.S. military should be to defend the United States. Period. Yet, one of the greatest myths ever invented is that the current U.S. military somehow defends our freedoms. First of all, our freedoms are not in danger of being taken away by foreign countries; if they are taken away it will be by our own government. It is not a country making war on us that we need to fear, it is our government making war on the Bill of Rights. And second, how is stationing troops in 150 different regions of the world on hundreds of U.S. military bases defending our freedoms? It is not the purpose of the U.S. military to change regimes, secure the borders of other countries, or spread democracy at gunpoint. The Department of Defense should first and foremost be the Department of Homeland Security."--Laurence Vance--

It is so sad that all the animals are dead and dying.

But I am outraged that BP is being allowed to cover this up. Our own government has the power to tell BP to go straight to hell. BP has no legal right to keep any U.S. citizen or entity off the beaches or to be able to fly at any safe altitude over the gulf.

To do so would be like your neighbor keeping you from entering your house, because he shit on your living room floor and doesn't want you to see it.

They have no honor anymore. Cops are paid terrorists with a mission to harrass communities.
