No it doesn't. The pipes connected to the BOP are still in operation and they are flaring the oil and gas as we speak.

IF that is sulfur we're in for all kinds of havoc/doom/crash/burn. Sulfur + water = H2SO4, one of the strongest mineral acids there is.

Can someone with some knowledge comment on what the orange is? It's clearly not the lights. Is it sulphur? What's that mean if it is sulpher? Seems like a lot.

Does the well head have cracks in it?

those can only handle a few thousand barrels per day...basically nothing.

Around 10K barrels of oil and 50 million cubic feet of gas.
Not exactly nothing, but not a really big dent in the total either.

It would appear that the wellhead (or whatever the pipe is called the oil is gushing from) is erroding/deteriorating rather quickly now. I was watching it crack earlier and it would appear that it has indeed disintegrated even further now...can anyone else confirm they are seeing the same thing?

The amazing thing about this BP feed is that we are on a journey to the centre of the earth and SHE is wounded.

I recorded last nights, main plume. Because, It was different.
It was slower, and much smaller not as wide. I did not note the timer but I was sure the flow was markedly changed.
as far as this new vigorous flow I have seen this speed before and seen it change in a second, later back to normal? The flotsam and jet-some (semigma)is moving a warp speeds as well. Check the ROV Clock with a spot watch. It's all weird.

One of the ROV's was deep into the plume as well. Truth?

Now there's a bunch of foggy-looking, "white smoke" looking stuff coming up all around the main discharge. What the heck is THAT?

The oil is roaring out of the top of the BOP which is a very large structure!The top hat is suspended in mid ocean with two plumes of ghastly looking green stuff quite clearly very poisonous ebbing slowly from the top.There is another shot of the oil and gas mixtur taken a little higher up where the pressure is not as extreme!Massive amounts of dispersants are being added.They are flourescent and in the strange lighting look like flames whereas the oil looks browner like mud!BP is doing all they can to hide the origin of the oil hurricane, which looks very angry indeed!When they do get close to something sensitive they have a way of tempoarily deconstructing the digital feed!As far as the sea bed around the BOP I think it may be leaking..............

That's the "Corexit" dispersant.

A white cloudy smoky mixture is pouring out of a pipe the is connected to the side of the BOP!!!Maybe another dispersant or antifreeze!They may be going to try to put the top hat back on!

Doesn't look like it is doing a bit of good 0_o maybe that is just me. Does it take time?

This white steam/mist shit I haven't seen before - maybe it's the new dispersant they mentioned on the news the other day? or the sea floor cracking...

What the heck do they need to use dispersant for? It's not going to change anything; that plume is blasting right up through it.

It looks like it's oozing out from seals and seams all over the BOP, not coming from a single nozzle or pipe.
