Reality exists only as a probability wave until we take that measurement=observe it.Really quite simple except to an objective mind.Reality is subjective, personal. |

Quoting: Hanky Plancky 1047849Wait. Isn't that like saying when a tree falls in the forest and there are no humans around then the tree makes no sound? Which is completely untrue because sound waves exist regardless of the presence or humans. A mountain is always there regardless of it being observed. A rock does not materialize only when a human walks near it, the rock was there, is there, and will continue to be there after the human has left. Maybe I'm being to literal. This could very well have nothing to do with what you are saying, and I'm sorry if I am talking about something not even remotely relevant. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1045536Isn't that like saying when a tree falls in the forest and there are no humans around then the tree makes no sound? Which is completely untrue because sound waves exist regardless of the presence or humans. Sound waves like photon "waves" exist in a ghost-like reality. It takes something on which to bounce those sound-waves against to produce sound, hence the person hearing the tree fall causes the sound. Get it? A mountain is always there regardless of it being observed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1045536You don't know that and will NEVER know that because you have to see it to confirm that it is there which, according to quantum mechanics, is what "causes" the mountain to solidify (become a particle instead of a ghost-like wave). A rock does not materialize only when a human walks near it, the rock was there, is there, and will continue to be there after the human has left. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1045536Same answer as above. |

Quoting: Hades! 1038633If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? yes it makes a sound. Ah that's all wrong too. I have all this shit figured out, had for about a decade. Since I'm not a research scientist they'll just steal my ideas and lock me up in teh funny farm. |

Which is completely untrue because sound waves exist regardless of the presence or humans. We'd have to hear it for it be a sound, wouldn't we? Sure, the waves exist - that doesn't mean we've observed the sound and correlated it. :) A mountain is always there regardless of it being observed. The truth is, this does happen on a quantum world even though it makes no sense in a macro (micro size and up) world. |

I like this so I think I'll stick with this idea. I was thinking this as well. More like, the Tao which is an extension of God is intelligent. I'll keep this to myself however. |
