This is THE most serious issue in the US today is the poisoning being done by the dispersants..but only when the deaths start piling up are people going to be worried about more than how pretty their beaches are and where the tourist dollars are going to. (or rather not going to.)

I listening to C-Span right now and they are talking about stuff related to the spill, and one of the suits is upset that not as many people are coming to Florida to spend their tourism dollars.

While I can understand the negative economic impact of this, I am utterly appalled that it is all that is being focused on. More important than tourist dollars ARE PEOPLE'S LIVES, but that keeps getting swept under the rug..or it is reported on briefly, and then on to what day number it is of lindsey lohan's jail sentence.
