vitmain d3 body content determines between production of fast switching muscle and high strength muscle.

overdose of vitamin d3 may under certain circumstances cause calcium to be deposited in membrane walls, e.g. arteries, the calcium deposits could lead to rupture.

That's dumb. quit with that scare tactic you fucking idiot. MOST likely, too much calcium at optimal vitamin D level. You're not very bright....

its not a scare tactic, its a warning dont ingest too much vitamin d over long periods of time, you cant overdose from the sun though.

vitamin D stimulates intestinal calcium absorption, try and learn something yourself, maybe you will be atleast as bright as me, dipshit.

What a fucking dipshit moran you are. Toxicity is extremely rarely while majority of us are deficient in it.

Are you a shill for big pharma? I've seen one try and discredit vitamin D. so.... FUCK OFF!

here is a great source of D and many other products in a intra-oral spray that is 90% absorbed DIRECTLY into the blood stream through the inside lining of your mouth in 22 to 30 seconds COMPLETELY by-passing the gastro tract.

check them out in the PDR for their absorbtion rate under Mayor Pharmucutical.

uva produces vitamin d2
uvb produces vitamin d3

glass prevents uvb from penetrating
sunblock prevents uvb from penetrating

vitamin d2 metabolisms depletes d3 reserves

vitamin d3 is health beneficial

that about sums it up

Link? D2 is the prescription by doctors to raise vitamin D level in USA. Often one 50,000 IU pill a week for a couple months or so. It's true that overexposure to uva can deplete vitamin D but producing D2? That is news to me.

i cba looking to provide you with a link, do the hard research yourself.

the informations easily available, try somethign like google or medical journals.

Re: Vitamin D comes from the Sun...
Big Pharma knew about this potent cancer fighting from Vitamin D back in the 1980s but they couldn't patent natural compound produced in the skin and tried to come up with analogues but they didn't work quite as good as the natural one.

There is a random controlled study where a modest amount (not optimal) reduced 77% risk of getting cancer. That's how powerful free/cheap vitamin D3 is. It's estimated that 80% of USA are deficient and simply correcting it would save us tens of billion of dollars a year in healthcare cost. Health insurance is high enough so we might as well make sure our vitamin D is where it should be to save a lot more money in the long road.

Trans fat destroys the enzyme in the liver that makes vitamin D3. So you need to take vitamin D3 pills if you eat trans fat.

Vitamin D activtes your T cells/immune system. So you will get cancer if you're low on vitamin D.

Not to worry your treatment will stimulate the economy.

ofcourse im a 'shill'

exactly which part warrants that, or do you just fail to understand what im saying?

go on take ur d2 suppliments, sit behind glass all day, and add your sunblock when your outside.

see where that gets you.

ill stick to taking my d3 dose daily and getting my blood checked to make sure im not overdosing.

On multiple occasion. from a variety of credible sources, I've been told that it is extremely beneficial for one's health to take a Vitamin D supplement.

Makes sense. Your body needs lots of Vitamin D to function as it was designed to.

Yet, I've read it's pretty much impossible to ingest enough vitamin D to have any real effect on one's health.

And, that the most concentrated and abundant source of Vitamin D is in fact sunlight.

This also makes sense: Vitamin D is essential to a healthy body and it is available for free anywhere.

Nature works pretty well that.

No I didn't get caught up in it.

I simply didn't want that type of discussion on this thread so I made that clear to everyone

The fact you felt the need to refer to me as stupid, rather than compassionately pointing out the mistake I might have made so I could properly learn from it, shows very clearly your impure intentions.

True.

Getting sun has gotten such a bad rap over the last couple decades, it makes you wonder if there’s a conspiracy to keep people Vitamin D deficient.

The sun is GOOD for you in moderation. VERY good.

Taking vitamin D supplements in effective quantities when you don't have enough sunlight to synthetize your own vitamin D in your skin does make a difference. A huge difference I'd say.

Studies have shown people with vitamin D deficiency are much more prone to have extreme symptoms and even increased risk of dying when infected with COVID-19.
