Monday morning, when I stepped out on the screened porch, there was a loud rumbling happening in the cloud covered sky.... that lasted for at least 15 minutes... I could see nothing but the clouds...
It sounded like a huge fleet of helicopters..... again I believe it was "Something" else.....

I guess it has been 20 or more years now when it occurred. After I first moved into this house.
Anyway. It was around the time the ufo landed in the back yard.
It was late at night and I was awakened to this rumbling. It sounded like bombs straffing. I thought.. airplanes? but it kept on. Train? no. Bombs going off? and then the thought. atomic bomb? I was awake but I could not move... and I listened.. the house shook.. and the room was all lit up like daylight. A yellow color.
I was lying there thinking that the blast was coming closer as things kept getting louder. But I still could not move. The husband never moved.
Then I heard a cat scream at the door, terrified. Wanting to be let in.
Without thought, I immediately jumped out of the bed and ran to the door to let her in. Thinking it would not do any good if we were about to be vaporized. But she would feel better inside.
I opened the door to snatch Sandy and bring her inside. The yard was lit up like daylight. the same yellow color. And the noise was really loud. And the house was shaking.
I grabbed Sandy and pulled her inside and shut the door. When it shut. The lights disappeared and the noise was gone. And I was standing in a silent, dark house holding the cat.
