Processing the image on our cornea to our brain takes 1/10 second.

So actually we all look 1/10 second in the future.

Otherwise we would never be able to catch a ball.

actually that means we all look in the very slight past and think 1/10th of a second further into the past.

No. The brain calculates the ball's probable trajectory and extrapolates where your hand needs to be to catch it.

A lag of 1/10 second in 'Processing the image on our cornea' would not prevent one from catching a ball..

Just look at those whose reflexes who are impaired by much more than 1/10 second by alcohol or other drugs.. They can still catch a ball.

all the while upside down. the brain's situated upside down in the cranial cavity to compensate for light entering the eye inverted.

anticipation is not viewing the future
