129 countries in the United Nations General Assembly voted to condemn Nazism. & 1 country did not. The U.S.
United States refuses to condemn Nazis

While 129 countries at the UN GA adopt a resolution against glorifying Nazism, the U.S. votes against it. RT unveils some of the skeletons in America’s closet.

In New York, the United Nations General Assembly has adopted a Russia-proposed resolution calling upon member-states to fight against the glorification of Nazism.

But the U.S. turned out to be the only major world power who voted against this document, which was supported and adopted by a “yes” vote from 129 countries.

As is often the case with American politics and diplomacy, there is more to this story than meets the eye.

Something Americans don't talk about, this story is nowhere to be seen in the mainstream media, is information that has been leaked over the last couple of years with documents being declassified, revealing U.S. cover-ups of former Nazis and cooperation with them after the Second World War. Nazi soldiers that were "useful" for the U.S. in the fight against the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

Yes and our Presidents tried to stop this as the USA had communists representing us there, something happened and at least one was told he could not stop it. This is how things are now out of control. The Clintons are into this by the way, they hid it, they are also into the Black Panther movement and have ties to Russia. Dont let them fool you.

The UN has to go, they are the opposite of what they want you to think.

Wasting time actually voting to condemn an ideology long dead? Nazism was defeated 75 year's ago! With the state of the world, at present, why are they wasting time and our MONEY condemning something long dead? Unbelievable!

This is such a non-issue nor news worthy whatsoever. Now, I'm pissed off at myself for even replying to this stupid information.

As if Nazism was terrible! The Soviet Union, in 70 year's, is estimated to have killed as many as 50 million of their own citizen's via the Gulag. Mao is estimated to have killed 30 million of his citizen's. Lest we not forget that the U.S. wipe out nearly all of the indian nation's, which at one time numbered upward's to 500 nation's! Yet we continuly decry Nazism when, compared to the atrocities of the Soviet Union, we should have sided with Hitler and burnt down Russia!

The German people of today should cast-off this ignorance and denounce anyone who continue's to attack their sovereign nation over the past! I see no one decrying the attrocities of our nation, the former Soviet Union, or communist China, yet we waste time and money on denouncing Germany?!?! Our nation, today, is the proverbial Fourth Reich, so how could the U.S. denounce it? Our totalitarian approach to politic's and law enforcement exactly model's that of the Third Reich. With Operation Paperclip, supplanting known Nazi's into the governmental, scientific, and military structure's of our nation how could you expect us not to become the Fourth Reich!

My maternal Grandfather fought in WW2 as a U.S. Naval seamen whereas my paternal Grandfather was S.S. I am proud of both men who fought valiantly for their countries and am no longer ashamed to admit that publicly!

Can anyone actually back up the idiotic "Soviets killed 50 million of their own people in the Gulags" claim.

Under Stalin the death toll only amounted to a few hundred thousand over a period of 25 years.

Have no idea how that mushroomed to 50 million, but then in someone sick psychopaths own Nazi mind, I guess they have no problem throwing super inflated numbers around as long as the opposing side looks terribly bad.

He he he he!

Nice thread!

The US really doesn't like signing anything global does it...

They will sign all sorts of crap the US citizens don't want - because it kills the Constitution and controls/demeans/enslaves the people - but won't get involved in the wider world...

At least the UK is consistent - our governments will sign anything - regardless (of anything really)...

For example - most 'free thinkers' in the UK believe that Tony Blair will one day face charges of war crimes..

George Bush will not because the US is not signed up to various human rights treaties such as the Geneva convention.

Or maybe they didn't sign this one because certain families would be implicated under 'trading with the enemy' for dealing with and funding the Nazis - I know Walker Bush got caught - but how many didn't???

Why are you asking "anyone" it was one poster here who threw those figures about!

Ask them? It does sound like the are mixing up the number of Russians killed in WWII and those killed by Stalin though!

No, they are not mixing up any numbers as far as I know.

Soviets killed during WWII: 20.3 million (1941-1945)

By "Stalinism": a few hundred thousand (late 1920's-1953)

These two hardly add up to 50 million.

No, included in that number are actual murderers who deserved a death sentence, as well as Axis war criminals.

Stalin was no teddy bear, but he was no Hitler either.

All accusations launched against him and his government should have some genuine backing with reality, not gigantic silly numbers that are meant as pure ideological (in this case crypto-Nazi) propaganda and not backed by anything.
