One day you would see an Admiral or General walking down a hall and a few days late they are walking the same halls in suits dealing with the same people. I have worked with people who still insist on treating these people like they still hold rank. I had someone flip out on me when I called a former admiral by his first name, the admiral was kool with it because we were friends outside of work too. My 'friends' never cease to amaze me on here. haha Yeah - the phrase 'conflict of interest' comes to mind...but it's smart marketing for the defense industry....to get the peeps who can really push the weapons....
