Australia records second wettest summer in 111 years

Its been wonderful..

I was being serious, im Australian, the drought wasn't much fun you know, especially the bushfires 2 years back.

I am aware what Australia has gone through lately even when Australian's were saying to me it's normal...haven't heard normal being ushered in a while.. the message is rousting

The front page of the local newspaper here in far north Queensland a few days ago was all about the amazing rainfalls recorded.

One rain gauge near the slopes of the coastal ranges near Mossman north of Cairns tallied up 88 inches (2230 mm) for the month of February.

Where I live about 70 ks east of Melbourne we had 450 mm over summer. Last year 216 mm , year before 100 mm .

Where I live it was the driest and hottest summer in 111 years.
