Most folks aren't really ready to handle real doom. Maybe, never will be.

Phoenix was joking (I think) about this being "what we train for." It's true though.

Yeah, it's bewildering.

I think my wife's religious faith (RC) makes her able to handle about all the info I throw at her. She's ready in her own way, but as a result I kinda wonder how much of it even really registers with her.

Everyone else around me probably thinks I'm a crank, though. And that's all right.

It's good at least having folks around here on somewhat the same wavelength.
