You have to be lucky to some extent to find out about silver, as in stumble across something that catches your attention.

The information isn't, or at least it hasn't been, that widely disseminated. It has been an underground secret, unless you find websites like GLP where silver is part of the conversation.

I don't remember how I got turned onto it two or three years ago. Maybe it was GLP. Probably was. I think it was a Max Keiser video or two that did it.

Before that, I have small memories of different people flashing a silver coin they carried. But it didn't come anywhere close to sinking in what that was all about.

I started buying it, starting at $14, but then ran into some financial difficulty and had to liquidate it - every last ounce. I've just started back with a tiny stack.

But where is the general public going to learn about how important silver is to their financial future? Just about nowhere.
