"Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based of five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, or county commissioners." - Edward Abbey

"But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist." -Lysander Spooner

I got to meet Brian when I was 17, drunk and whatever at a kegger at Phil Gnarly and the Tough Guys party house.
All I could muster as a question, was:
"What's it like to have every girl in this place throwing herself at you?" lol I do remember he had huge hands though. blink

They won 3-2 in OT...was really hoping for a shootout, but guess a normal OT win will have to do...1dunno1

Hey exiled1!

How are you?

Saw mention of the Red Wings--how is the team doing this year?

I haven't watched them since Scotty Bowman left--he came to my home a few times. We have his autograph on a few items.

Actually, I was a Boston Bruins fan many years ago.

Enjoy your evening!

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task
the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24

"This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

Hi koffee!hf

The wings are doing pretty decent this year, hanging in there1dunno1...We did just tie a club record for most consecutive home games won(14 and counting), so thats something...

I liked Scotty, great coach, heard he was pretty tough in the locker room though...Definitely knew how to motivate and win. I do miss the old days, back when Colorado was our arch enemy, man those were great games to watch...two excellent teams...just doesn't seem to be anything like that anymore, but I haven't followed much myself for a couple years.

I guess we can let the Boston thing slide, being an original six team and allpeace
