I don't need to offer any excuses if it doesn't happen, because I never said it would. I said these are "theories." I believe there is a good probablity (too many coincidences) of something happening, but nobody knows anything like this with 100% certainty. If it doesn't happen, I will be extremely happy. But better to prepare just in case.

You over-simplify the problem. The size or visual brightness of a comet aren't the only things to be concerned about.

Are you blind? I already answered your question. I don't need to offer any excuses, because I never said it would happen in the first place. If it doesn't end up happening, are people going to tell me, "I told you so"? No, because I never told anyone it would happen.

Let me paste you what I just wrote on another thread:

I see 3 possibilities:

a) These theories about the coming doom from Elenin and Nibiru are correct, and there is an effort to suppress the information.

b) These theories are false, and they are being created and perpetuated by bored and doom hungry people.

c) These theories are false, and have been created by government dis-info agents in order to distract us from something else important.

I am open to any of the above 3, or any other possibility someone can think of.

I am neutral, because I don't have proof of anything for either of these possibilities. Each side has evidence, but not proof.

My whole point, commentator, is that every side of this issue is using arguments. Some people who believe the Elenin doom is real are educated as well, and use charts, graphs, numbers, etc. Does this prove anything? No. But it looks a lot better than your arguments, because you don't have any. Instead of using rational or data-based arguments, you use words like "dingbattery."

And, I never claimed to have an argument now did I? I asked you a simple question that you seem unwilling or unable to address.

Why would the OP need an excuse? Everyone is entitled to their own theories and opinons.As I recall, the OP never claimed that this was definitely going to occur.

Mark my words, when the doom from this comet fizzles into nothing, the usual suspects will move on to the next load of loon drool and dingbattery and get their panties in a wad all over again having learned nothing.

Could the Zetas tell us if Comet Elenin is disinformation and a diversion? Or is it a legitimate comet that will play havoc with us in Oct?
