What is this light in the sky? Planet or comet

Thread: What the hell is this I am seeing every night recently in the night sky?

Im in the midwest too... I see either Jupiter or Honda (blue kachina) every night. Whatever it is... it looks close!

It looks like you can jump to the moon!

I saw that thread. I just wondered if anyone else had taken a close look with telescope.

I have watched Jupiter and Saturn both rise every years from where i live this isn't the same place they usually rise. Usually a bit more southeast from my point of view.

Personally, I'd say jupiter or venus. It's the ONLY thing I see in the sky now other than the moon. It's there every night though...

all I know is the last few days the moon has been rising early and it looks damn close!! You look up at 7:30 and it's right there, floating!! crazy world.

I don't know what it is either but I do know it rises in a different part of sky than I have ever noticed Jupiter or Saturn do before.
