We may be existing in a temporal loop.

It is one way to explain so many anomalies.

Anomalies that need to be explained.

1.Civilization seems to spontaneously arisen about 6000 years ago.
2.Antiquity almost invariably contains stories of gods coming and
A. Mating with humans
B. Bringing technology such as agriculture and writing.
3.Antiquity almost invariably contains stories of a past and future cataclysm.
4.Many ancient sources include the idea that this is not the first 'earth'.
5.2012 is pointed at by too many different traditions to be coincidence.
6.Ancient sources refer to a past and future golden age.


The mechanism:

I propose the possibility that the time line (most likely local in my opinion) has looped in on its self to a point in the past. This point is most likely 12 to 6 thousand years ago.

The time line ends in cataclysm, perhaps a flood, quake, etc, etc.

Because the time line would now take on the geometry of a loop, the beginning of the time line (12-6 TYA) would exist both as our future and past simultaneously. Likewise, the end of the loop (nowish) would exist both as the future and past for the beginning of the loop simultaneously.


If time is looping and our past were also our future then the survivors of the cataclysm would continue through the loop back into the past.

Imagine walking in a closed loop. Everything would be new to you until the instant you get back to the beginning of the loop. In a temporal loop there would be nothing preventing you from moving from the current temporal position to the next position in the loop even though the would actually be in the past.


Hypothesis have been proposed that aliens or demons came to this planet in antiquity. I find this lacking. Aliens and spirit creatures are of another species. They could not be genetically compatible.

The ancients living at the beginning of the loop will see you as gods. They will see the time period that you describe as a 'golden age'. They will see the cataclysm that we both will have simultaneously experienced. You will know it is a time loop and tell them of the future cataclysm. You will take them as mates and produce 'demi-gods'.

Some of you will encode what you know until the time that it can be rediscovered that 12212012 is the end date (possibility). You will pass on to them that this is only one of many 'earths' 'suns'.

Some of you will pass on to them writing, agriculture, and civilization.
