And when the war started he quit playing golf all together. Thought it looked bad to be playing golf while our people are dying in the war.

As bad as Gdub was, he had more class in his little finger than the 2 Obammys combined.

Even the Obamas travel to Martha's Vineyard cost us waaaay more than it needed to. From the article:

I haven't been able to afford a vacation for six years.

Who cares, oh wait minute all the crazy trolls here do. You care about the president wife wasting our fiat money when thousands more government or business spend that in an hour. No wonder why this country is being milked all the suckers think that con artists care what they think or do.

What is even more stunning than the arrogance and chutzpah of the Obamas, is that we, the American public, put up with it. There should be an outcry like never before. We all realize that the president and their families live a privileged life while in office, but these two are rubbing our noses in it.

No other president's spent so much of taxpayers dollars on vacation and taken SO MUCH TIME off from the job. With all that's happening, he's spent two months + (this is from March) of his presidency off playing golf. DOES NOT INCLUDE THE VACATIONS AND VACATION GOLF.

This is the president’s 60th time golfing as president, meaning Obama has spent two months of his presidency on the golf course.

The rounds usually take about five hours, including motorcading back an forth to the course.

According to statistics compiled by CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller, who keeps close tabs on the president’s activities, Obama played 30 rounds in 2010, 28 rounds in 2009, and two this year, including today.

George W. Bush gave up golfing in 2003, explaining why he did it in a 2008 interview with POLITICO.

“I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”

I may ot have been a huge Bush fan - but he was not over the top he remained very low key out of respect for the war and for our soldiers and of course the era after 911 was very low key

No, he's not, but he and his family spend OUR money like it's fucking water. Gdub took a lot of his time off at the FAMILY-owned ranch, at the FAMILY-owned property in Maine, and at the PUBLICLY-owned Camp David. Big difference.

I don't think Michelle would consider the $10 million 'vacation' money. She instead probably considers it as long overdue reparations from white slave masters.

You may have a point especially given what she wrote in her Princeton paper but we'll never really know. What we can see is that this extravagance is waaaay over the top.

My personal favorite was when she wore $500 sneakers to spoon meals at a soup kitchen feeding the homeless.

I like bling as much as the next person but there doesn't seem to be any real connection to us as people. No appreciation for what we are going through. When I think about the good $10 million could have done! Just last week 1.5 million people were kicked off unemployment when their benefits ran out for the last time. Those people are now destitute! But those in the White House are livin' larger than ever!
