Trying to bring GLP together. I'm still collecting flags from posters all over the world. Thread: Official "Flags from around the world" thread. Hoping to get posts from all countries that frequent GLP. :gratefulsig: |

American Poet User ID: 1520563 United States 09/13/2011 03:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I own a Citizen Eco-Drive watch. I got it new a few months ago. I have owned these types of watches for about 15 years now and have never had any problems with them. Quoting: bigred7104 My watch has been set to the exact time according to world clock and also my iphone clock. All of a sudden today- the time on my watch sped up by 6 minutes! What the ****? Keep in mind these type of watches run on solar energy. Maybe it is receiving too much energy from the sun? Makes you wonder. These watches are made in Japan. Perhaps something else is wrong with your watch. You said you got it a few months ago. How many exactly? The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine. |

2Crazy4U User ID: 1528294 Venezuela 09/13/2011 05:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Someone bought it for a gift for me about 9 months ago and gave it to me about 5 months ago. So I don't think radiation is a worry. Quoting: bigred7104 I honestly wonder if solar radiation increase can cause this. No my friend, the solar cell in the watch works to charge a Re-chargeable battery inside. The crystal motor use only the propper amount of power to run the watch. No more, no less. If the solar panel its left in the sun unatended, the charge circuit will turn-off when the rechargeable battery is full. How much sun light the watch received only will influence the fast the rechargeable battery will charge. No sun light like the night hours, the watch switch to internal battery and work just fine! Your watch must have a little problem and can return the watch to be repaired under warraty, as the Citizen Pro-Master and Eco-Drive have 1 year warranty. (mine has 3 years limited warranty) But in 5 years the time has not changed 1 second compared to the atomic world clock. I hope that this info will help you.
