The liberal church of Herman Cain
Another lefty who is now a righty. Right

Atlanta (CNN) – Herman Cain has vaulted to the top of the polls as a Republican presidential candidate, but there’s one audience that may prove tougher for him to win over: his hometown church.

Cain, a conservative who recently said African-Americans were “brainwashed” into voting Democratic, is an associate minister at an Atlanta megachurch that has been a stronghold of liberal activism and is led by a pastor who cites Malcolm X as one of his influences.

Yeah, but what black man, including a minister, wouldn't consider MX one of their hero's? That common across the black race, left or right... right?

Re: The liberal church of Herman Cain
I know a lot of black people who wouldn't give a rat's ass to Malcolm X.

This issue is that Cain belongs to a libral church.

Re: The liberal church of Herman Cain
Ummm...did you read the article?

Lots of liberal members - Black Baptist Church. Everyone there seems to know Cain doesn't share their political views.

Sounds like the church has a lot of conservative views too - not ordaining women, etc. I would imagine they preach from the Bible - also considered pretty conservative.

Of course a Black Baptist Church would have some "liberal" leanings.

Ask them how they feel about homosexuality, gay marriage, etc.

Ask the preacher what he would say about the abuse of substances such as drugs and alcohol - I'll bet you get some fairly conservative answers.

I am a member of a Church. I don't agree politically or even religiously with everyone there.

Big deal.

Read the article.

Nothing you mentioned as "conservative", actually is. Conservatism is not what FOX told you. Defending the founding ideals of the Nation is the definition of conservative.

Get a clue RINO TARD.
