No one said You HAVE to borrow or buy it I responded to your stupid story about making an offer to a bum again soo You're an idiot, and I'm glad you have to pay to banks for their bad decision. I hope it causes you financial hardship. Stupid people deserve to be punished. ETA: That goes for everyone so stupid as to let the banks get away with this scheme. You're all responsible. Yes you do haha I'm not being punished for it. You are. I work for one of the major companies that did it to you. I'm literally laughing out loud that you're letting my company off the hook. ha ha Then you are paying for it even more than the rest of us..you work for the company that you claim screwed you! ..The jokes on you. do you feel so forgiving? Why don't you hand your paycheck over to the bums who won't payback the money they borrowed too Last Edited by Mooshi Kin on 10/26/2011 03:36 PM |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 3884408 United States 10/26/2011 03:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look at you people. Attention skewed again. Hey sheep, they want you to think that those with student loans are getting a good deal. They also want those of you without to think you're getting screwed somehow. The system is a giant fraud, you've been fleeced and fucked since you were born. The system is rigged so that most of you have to take out a huge loan to acquire something of value (home, car, school, etc). Then they steal money from your paycheck, in the form of "taxes", you pay more taxes on most things you buy, and they fuck with the value of the currency, making the money you have in your hand more worthless by the day, aka "theft", etc, etc. If you don't know all the ways you've been "bent over" at this point, then close the GLP window now and go to McDonalds and start eating Big Macs. Fuck the Fed and the bloody corporation in and of Washington, DC. Want reform? look there. |

I know trailer trash that took out student loans and only went to class long enough to get the money. Now they still don't have a job, spent the money on beer and meth, and continue to leech. And I know tons of people who took out loans, went to college, and have made themselves more valuable to society. Your position reminds me of folks who are anti-seatbelt because seatbelts are sometimes detrimental (despite the fact that, overall, they tend to be tremendously beneficial). The relevant question is whether, ON THE WHOLE, society is better or worse off when you take ALL cases into consideration. And when you do that, the net impact of all this student-loan-supported post-secondary education in our society has been overwhelmingly positive. |

It's in our best interest for secondary education to be available to all, and society justifiably pays for it” This is one of the major things wrong with our society. The federal government does not have the right to be involved in education this is clearly a role for the states. Its people like You that have brought us into this mess with the mindset of “its in our best interest” When does your “justifiably pay for it” stop? With education? With housing? With medical care? With retirement? You're seriously stooping to the "slippery slope" defense as a protest against public education of any kind? I'd prefer to live in a society that recognizes the value of education and acts accordingly. I do not want to live in a society that ignores the benefits of public education due to paranoid concerns about slippery slopes. |
