Israel launches advanced Jericho missile, completes air training exercise, prepares citizens for attack

Israel conducted Wednesday a successful test launch from its rocket center in Palmachim of a new, intercontinental ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. At the same time, Israel disclosed in unusual detail a joint Israeli-Italian air exercise ending last Friday, October 29, around the island of Sardinia.

Foreign sources quoted by Debkafile said the ICBM was an upgraded Jericho 3 believed capable of delivering a 750-kilo (1700 pound) nuclear warhead to a distance of 7,000 kilometers (4500 miles)- further, if fitted with a smaller warhead.
