maneuvers from top high diving straight at you...

now put two more missiles incoming from different
directions with timing to hit you at the same moment
in a saturation attack (the normal) and you get the picture

best, jump to the sea, IF you have the time to do so...

your only defend to hypersonic missiles is more faster
surface to air missiles ( moskit is incoming with 3 Machs
so if your missile has to have a possibility of success
needs a speed of at least 6-8 machs to start with,
for successfull maneuvers to follow the 3 mach escaping
missile if it miss the first face to face hit

phalanx is 20th century weapon, we are in 21th,
it is usefull ofcourse against slower close air targets
and not only air,

but it cant protect you against the best missiles of our times

Truly we need the synchronized countdown and determine when it will run out (Cool Part of Independence Day as aliens coordinated the time of the first strike.

I remember when that emergency broadcast aireeca few weeks ago and I began hearing what sounded like 2 men talking. What they were saying was so absurd and unbelievable that I just let it go and didnt tell anyone.

Now that I'm on a forum of open minds I can divulge this, I heard one man yelling almost in jest at the other man. I believe they worked for the company that aired the nationwide test.
