On the HCG i do feel full... I have 100 grams ( 3.5 ounces) of thin sliced grilled chicken with a large bag of chopped lettuce and ONE melba toast. For dessert I have a FLORIDA orange (its juicy). If I happen to get hungry I have a cup of chicken broth with Thai spices. DELICIOUS.

Actually, there is a clear conspiracy around this diet. It has been suppressed for over 50 years and the FDA goes after doctors who prescribe it just like they do doctors who effectively treat cancers using natural means. It's a true conspiracy.

HG Cworks great, I am going on it again after 2 years of sucessful reduction of 30 lbs., just to cut down, as I have been weight training, and need to lose a little gut I have developed.

The HCG forces your body to use the stored fat as energy, since you only consume 500 calories a day on the diet, the rest is taken out of fat stores. I lost 2-3 lbs per day on at least 5 days per week, so it works good, and as long as you eat right after coing off the shots, it resets your metabolism so the weight stays off.

Those talking against this diet have obviously not done it, and have shown they are ignorant of it by their comments

essentially it s starvation diet. no getting around the fact the 500 calories per day with put your metabolism into starvation mode. do this often and/or for long enough and you will fuck up your metabolism and make it permanently slow

Let me put it to you this way.

A friend of mine lost 100 pounds in 5 months on the diet getting injections. He then went mentally insane, slit his wrists and wiped the blood all over his house. He survived but now is clearly schizophrenic.

His wife did the same diet and is not quite as insane but clearly has some serious mental issues now.

It is a very dangerous diet.

Also the injections are pure calories you are injecting into your body.. I think about 1500 that lasts the day so you are not hungry, that is why you do the 500 extra calories.

But it is a female hormone and not safe. Your body and brain will not react well to the loss in such a fast pace.

The HCG diet is a scam. Any diet that restricts your calorie intake to 500-600 calories a day will make you lose weight. I could eat 500 calories a day and drop hot sauce on my tongue and lose weight.

Good for you OP! I tried that diet, and I was literally starving. I lasted a week then I couldn't do it anymore.

How about ou just cut out sugar, white bread, red meat and frozen food for 3 months and replace it with fresh, never frozen veggies, fruit, nuts, chicken and fish?

The only time I was ever able to loose weight was on a low carb diet.

My breakthrough was realizing that wheat was causing me health issues. I stopped eating wheat products (which eliminated almost all processed foods) and began eating more fresh fruits and veggies and without even counting calories I lost 40 lbs and felt so much better.

Congrats on the weight loss, I've known a few people that have done with HCG successfully but you still have to maintain your weight with diet and exercise.

I've also known a few people that have done the lap band thing. Two of them after losing an enormous amount of weight pretty much gained it all back.

I am sure you know getting it off is easier then keeping it off. Good luck, I know you feel better having lost weight.
