I do have the Rifftrax version though. If you haven't seen that, you should get it. You can probably still find it on their website. There might be a torrent floating around too, given the time of year. |

OMG!!!!!! No one will believe this, but I was actually thinking of this show about a month ago. (Should I admit this?) Horrendous, horrendous, horrendous! Good God in Heaven, this had to be the worst production in TV history. I remember watching this live with family and friends... all of us were doing the 70's version of "WTF"?!!!! (Which is the same as today's WTF, but with longer hair). I am just as convinced now as I was then that, "They"... "Had something"... on every single cast member of that amazingly horrible show in order to force them to perform it. No amount of money would compel such accomplished actors to lower themselves to such professionally suicidal drivel. Normally, at this point, I would say, "AMAZING"! But really, to describe this show, it would be far more accurate to say, "APPALLING"! As for the commercials.... umm... I think I need a moment.... OK, I guess we were, by that point, indoctrinated. I don't recall thinking they were "unusual". (An old lady buying Fruit of the Loom underwear???? again... WTF?!) OP! Thank you! I think... :) |
