So, OP, do you think you were seeing the southern California area or somewhere in Europe? Have you come to any conclusions about the location of your dream?

Still not sure yet. I guess I was seeing a part of L.A. but my gut feeling was Italy. Also at some point I remember thinking something about South America, so it's all a little blurry right now. I'm still trying to figure it all out but I'll let you know when/if I do. I will say this though, most of the times if I try to interpret the dream, it's not as accurate. That is why I posted the whole dream, instead of my interpretation of what it represented.

Well there's something to do with fires going on in L.A. at the moment that has put it in the news:

[link to news.sky.com]

And there's also been a big fish death somewhere in Norway:

[link to theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com]

Perhaps these are signs? It was a Friday in my dream that the volcano popped, but I don't know if there were two separate eruptions on different dates or not.

I'm guessing something may happen in or around LA as a precursor to this event happening (if it does). Don't know if it will be on a Friday or the eruption will be.

It could possibly be an earthquake (A 6+). Last night I saw a map of the US with 3 quakes with specific 6+ magnitudes. I thought I'd post it just in case it meant anything.

And in the dream I felt the volcanic eruption was in Italy or be South America. I won't claim if it's a small harmless eruption, but I do feel the day will be a Friday, and if it happens it will be huge. There may be 2 eruptions, or a significant precursor to an eruption (that people ignore?).

Highly doubt it, there was nothing related to this in my dream. Anything can happen though I suppose.

Also, for those who can't see the quake pic, there are 3 EQ's. Two on the West Coast, 1 on the East Coast. I got 4 magnitudes, they were; 6.9, 6.5, 6.3, 6.2. Im guessing one of those magnitudes wouldn't happen if the other 3 did.

A few coincidences here:

[link to news.sky.com]

Mt Etna, Europe's highest active volcano has erupted, spewing a column of hot ash high into the sky.

In Italy, and it's Friday. But I don't think this is it. (Unless this is the warning and a big eruption is to follow).

But still it didn't look like Etna in the dream, it was shaped like Vesuvius, didn't have snow on either (that said, dreams are not usually 100% accurate in terms of appearance).

In terms of activity Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, and this activity is not unusual. This is only a hiccup to the scale of the eruption I saw. Still interesting though!

Aside from Cayce, I have a book in my library that I bought in the 70s called We Are The Earthquake Generation that compares psychic predictions with actual geological upheavals to see if there is any correlation and it turns out there is a surprising amount.

It amalgamates a number of different visions, dreams, predictions and comes up with four key events that will precede massive changes to the west coast of North America, two of which have already happened:

1. Tidal waves in the Indian Ocean - an unusual first pick as the Indian Ocean did not have a history of tsunamis and that is why when the tsunami struck Indonesia in 2004 there was no warning system in place so that several hours later it struck India with diminished but still devastating force.

2. Earthquakes and tidal waves ravage Japan - Note the use of the word "ravage" as Fukushima has created a ongoing disaster that continues to have spiraling effects there and underscores Cayce's use of the word "must" when describing his vision of its fate.

3. Mount Etna erupts with devastating consequences to the whole of Europe and the Mediterranean.

4. Pelee erupts in the Caribbean.

5. California goes into the Pacific. Beachfront in Nevada.

Etna seems to be VEI-5 type of Volcano, although devastating it could not produce a "oh shit europe" kinda eruption. For example Mt.Helens 1980 was VEI 5. So it has to be something else, maybe Santorini?

It is definitely interesting that with this eruption in my dream I saw parts of L.A (West Coast America).

I've since looked up Etna on Wikipedia and it says:

"Etna's most destructive eruption since 122 BC started on 11 March 1669."

but;

"Contrary to widespread reports of up to 15,000 (or even 20,000) human fatalities caused by the lava, contemporaneous accounts written both in Italian and English mention no deaths related to the 1669 eruption (but give very precise figures of the number of buildings destroyed, the area of cultivated land lost, and the economic damage), so it can be safely assumed that the enormous number of fatalities often picked up also by the news media must be a confusion with the earthquake that devastated southeast Sicily (including Catania) 24 years later, in 1693."

It makes me wonder if Etna is still capable of massive eruptions it produced tens of thousands of years ago. I know they say Vesuvius is. But scientists can't always be right. I suppose Etna could blow whenever. We'll have to wait and see.

Santorini has the potential for one of the biggest recorded eruptions, so I really really hope not. The details of the dream left me to do most of the guessing so I can't really say. But if something happens, we can look back at my dream and see how/if it pointed to it.

HISTORICALLY

being the key word here I reckon.

remember, a few volcanoes have woken from multi thousand year dormancy recently

who's to say Etna won't repeat what she did thousands of years ago, and produce eruptions sufficient to cover even Rome with ash?

also, i don't think the atmosphere can take many more large eruptions anywhere on the planet, before some sort of tipping point is hit, and a climate switch is flicked

Re: Dream of a very big volcanic eruption
I had a very interesting dream last night. It's interesting because I dreamt of it completely out of the blue. I don't think I've ever dreamed of a Volcano popping, so I thought I'd throw this one out there.

I was in the sea near a beach, and I could see the Volcano in the background. Everything was fine, it was a beautiful day, people were in the sea, and my friend said about a wave or something that was meant to happen. I said "Nah, it won't happen" and with that I heard a loud creaking sound that came from deep inside the volcano. It was like the earth was moaning. People were all looking up to this Volcano and it just let out a hiccup, and sent stones raining down on everyone. I struggled to get out of the sea as it had now become really rough.

I could see people all around me being battered with stones and rocks, and suddenly I saw myself get hit. After that it was like I had died and I was seeing the event unfold through somebody else's eyes.

Once I had made it far away enough to avoid the rockfalls, I could see lots of signposts for different locations. I tried to remember them as I suddenly felt the need to. It looked like I was at some sort of fairground. The only one I remember was a signpost pointing to "Watt Tower".

I had a really strong feeling I was in Italy, or possibly South America.

I then at some point in the dream saw the volcano literally explode, it was massive, and sent a huge amount of lava up into the sky. At this point I remember thinking the emissions from this eruption would reach 60km (I assume radius (60km is too high?)?).

With that I could see lava flowing towards me extremely fast and I ran as fast as I could trying to get to higher land. Somehow I ended up at a beach and I could see the Volcano smoking in the background. There were molten rocks on the beach and people had gathered there thinking it would be safe. However, the lava came, but people were all lying down as if they were tired or something, and the lava just engulfed them. I tried to run in the water but it was full of lava too and just burned me. I managed to make it out and ran up to a town where the lava was still chasing me. People were all lying on the floor and the lava was covering them.

I met a man who (I think) knew this was going to happen and had hired a local taxi driver (a dark skinned man) to drive him to safety. However he argued with the driver because the driver said the main route would be the best one to take, and the man said to take back roads because the main route would be too busy with other people trying to flee. He ended up shooting the driver in the hand, I don't know if he killed him but we ended up leaving the car.

I ended up running to an old building made of sheet metal where I tried to climb onto the roof. I didn't make it but the lava around us had finally stopped rising, but it was flowing like a river. There were other people around (it was now dark) and some people were sinking into the ground, like parts of it had gone soft. They were sinking up to their waists.

Throughout the dream I had a very strong feeling it was Friday. I have looked through images of Volcanoes from Italy, and in my opinion it most looked like Mount Vesuvius, but I do not remember the shape very well now.

At some point earlier on I was on a film set and I was swimming through the water. There were thousands of fish all lying motionless in this river, and they were all at the sides. Also at some point I saw the whole event again, but this time the big eruption came like a week after the first.
I also will mention I was on the film set of these guys 'Jedward' from Ireland. They were making a film and they were doing something on a speedboat. (I don't see how, but this could turn out to be relevant?).

Anyway, I didn't get a date for this, just that it 'felt' as though it was a Friday. It was sunny and people were in the sea, so the weather was nice (Summer?). I don't know which volcano it was but the eruption was massive (not just a normal one) and a lot of people died. It felt like it was Italy, but as I said, I can't be sure. It looked like Vesuvius with the two peaks; one larger than the other.

Based on this I can't really make a prediction as to 'if' or 'where' or 'when' this would happen, so I'll just leave this here as a dream.

I'd love to hear if anyone else has dreamt of anything similar recently, as I absolutely never dream of Volcanoes (natural disasters are usually earthquakes or tsunamis), so this is new for me. Hopefully this won't happen though! Everyone stay safe.

The Watts Towers or Towers of Simon Rodia in the Watts district of Los Angeles, California, is a collection of 17 interconnected structures, two of which reach heights of over 99 feet (30 m). The Towers were built by Italian immigrant construction worker Sabato ("Sam" or "Simon") Rodia in his spare time over a period of 33 years, from 1921 to 1954. The work is an example of non-traditional vernacular architecture and American Naïve art.[3][4]

Yep, a lot of the dream pointed towards the L.A. area around Cali on the West Coast. Found a pic of a volcano nearby:

That is called Mount Konocti (I saw a sign in the dream say something like Conte or Conti) and has the double peak like the one I saw in my dream. This would probably be the one if it was in the US.

I also remembered passing a school before seeing the sign for Watt towers. I checked on Google maps and found out there is a school right next to them.

Also, if you like you can check my other thread as it relates to this.

Hello all
I forgot about this thread. I was searching under dreams. OP last week I was given a vision of Italy. At the toe of Italy is an island. Over this island was like a 3d bullseye. I looked at the map to see why God would mark it and Mr Etna is near there.

Is there anything else on that island to worry abort?

I know this is really (really) far fetched, but the cruise ship that capsized did so in Italy on a Friday. Most of the people had to swim through the water to safety. Obviously the main event in this dream was the eruption, but I'm wondering if the little bit about a 'speedboat' may have referred to this. I said they were 'doing something', - they were trying to 'hit' someone in the water. It may also have been why I thought of Italy when I was reading signposts for places in LA. If it was then I would imagine South America or Cali/LA may be the places to watch.
