I show up and complain, and get shit taken care of immediately... Last year a teller tried to give me an 800 number, and I told her flatly, "I am standing here now, and this will be resolved before I leave"... CS agent I usually deal with saw me, and waved me over... Problem solved in 2 minutes... Go in and complain...Phones are worthless... "Hold my cat while I bring in my tomato plant. Anonymous Coward User ID: 77251 United States 01/05/2012 04:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been buying up guns and ammo since sept. 2011 Quoting: The Decider I buy mostly online and have guns shipped to my local gun store, ammo comes straight to my house 2 weeks ago my debit card got denied while getting gas my bank says they saw suspicious activity on the account I asked what was suspicious, they said several purchases from my local gun store I only pay the transfer fee at the gun store, just $15 per order Anyway, I still haven't been able to get my card reinstated and the bank keeps transferring the issue to different departments I just thought this was strange cause i buy everything with my debit card, haven't carried cash in over 5 years and I cannot imagine why after 2 months of heavy gun buying they would raise a red flag over transfer fees Let me guess was it BOA? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 3058115 United States 01/05/2012 04:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually, something like this happened to me too. I bought gun parts and some long term (prepper type) food items, and MasterCard put a temporary hold on my account.. the week of Christmas! Said reason was "suspected fraud". This hold didn't come from my local bank, it came from the debit MasterCard. |

Epic Beard Guy User ID: 1079209 United States 01/05/2012 04:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It sounds like that bank and that card are bad news. Find a new bank and card. Best bet is don't go anywhere that had any thing to do with the govenment money. I recommend a credit union rather than a bank. I have done the same thing and never had a problem. My credit union has called me about "suspicious activity", but it had nothing to do with guns. It was just really large purchases, or purchases out of my area of the country. They have never called about an online purchase. Ditch the bank and their card! Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe |

That way you can have some control and personal relationships with the people there, and get away from the fascists in the big banks. Be sure you keep enough cash at home for when things get rough. |
