Imbedding you-tube videos --- Stopped working for me-anyone else?

Just tried a few different URLs from the webpage including the embed.

I don't know why, but the url at the top of the address at the utube site also has the word embed in it so maybe somehow it stops it from embedding. I'll start checking out the url address and see if there is something to this.

I don't know...maybe it has something to do with copyright issues?

Have you noticed that there are certain youtube videos that will not embed even when you follow the procedure outlined in the FAQ? Thread: GLPFAQ How to embed videos.

There is an alternative procedure that can be followed that will allow a video to be embedded.

Embedding procedure as outlined in the FAQ

1. Copy the url of the video

:videohelp1:



2. Paste that url between the Youtube embed tags

:videohelp3:



3. If your video does not embed try the alternative procedure.







Alternative embedding procedure

1. Click on the share button below the video and copy that url

2. Paste that url between the Youtube embed tags

3. Your video should now be embedded in your post

Thanks mod. I tried both of those ways in this thread. Previously, the 2nd option just left part of the address and then the blue link in the middle and then more address. I'll try it again below.

Try the second method. Click on the share button below the video and then paste that between the embed tags

It's the short bar not the one that shows below after you click embed.
