Hi All,
I did warn you that 2012 is going to be a busy, dramatic, scary, traumatic and a fight-for-survival year.
I shall be sending you details of around three major issues in February and at least that many each
month thereafter. This is live or die time for the planet and its population. Some of the public have
been aware and trying to educate the population for decades. But too many have ignored the obvious
and perpetuated their bad habits, hoping for the best outcome but not working for it; often against it !
Now, radical changes are needed immediately..........................

As usual, please forward this email to as many people as possible. Time is running out and there is
enough brainwashing going on without Gina getting some control. Read On !

I look forward to your feedback.

Good Luck for 2012, Roger

Gina Rinehart is buying up control of The Age and The SMH in a bid that could spread climate denial and protect her mining interests. With the media inquiry report just weeks away, let's give Communications Minister Conroy the massive support he needs to stop media moguls for good. Sign now:

Mining magnate Gina Rinehart has just bought a major stake in Fairfax media -- in a bid that could turn The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald into mouthpieces for climate denial to protect her mining interests. But together we can foil her plan.

Rinehart has already bought Channel Ten’s agenda -- and Australia’s ownership restrictions need urgent reform to end her latest assault on Fairfax. The media inquiry that Avaaz members helped win is just weeks away from reporting, and provides the government with the crucial chance to act. Communications Minister Stephen Conroy is supportive of stronger ownership limits -- but he needs a community outcry to get the whole government on board.

Sign the petition to Minister Conroy now to ensure a mogul-free Australian media. When the petition reaches 50,000 signatures, we’ll spectacularly deliver the massive message in Canberra:

[link to www.avaaz.org]

Gina Rinehart is Australia’s richest person, and she’s poised to buy political influence. Her campaign against the mining tax lead directly to the sacking of former PM Kevin Rudd -- just a taste of the power she could wield through total media control. This is a woman who wants to use nuclear bombs to blast even larger open-cut mines, supports WA seceding from Australia, and bankrolls climate change denial.

Rinehart now owns almost 15% of Fairfax, and past actions suggest her plan is to use this control to push her extreme views. She has already made her mark at Channel Ten -- with 10% ownership of the TV network, she’s quickly installed herself on the board and was reportedly behind the divisive Andrew Bolt being given his own show. As Murdoch’s only newspaper competition, loosing Fairfax to another extremist media mogul would be a huge blow to Australian democracy.

To stop media moguls and clean up our media, we desperately need stronger ownership limits, a 'fit and proper person' test for use of public airwaves, and a strong and independent media regulator. We’ve already succeeded in establishing the inquiry and pushing it to make strong recommendations -- but only our pressure can ensure the government listens to the people instead of the moguls. Let’s give Minister Conroy the support he needs to put a stop to damaging media moguls -- sign the petition now:

[link to www.avaaz.org]

Avaaz members around the world have played a key role in reeling in Murdoch’s damaging media empire, stopping his massive BSkyB takeover bid in the UK and ending his attempted $223 million robbery of the Australia Network from the ABC. Now, we have the chance to institute protections to end media moguls for good.

With hope,

Emma, Ben, Paul, Dalia, Rich and the whole Avaaz team.

LOL of course climate chage is real, if you think it doesn't change by itself you are stupid. if you don't think people can influence it, you are stupid, simple.

the reason people brush it off is because there are always extremes on both ends of the scale, hot and cold, charging the debate. however, increasing temperature will cause some places to actually get colder, newtons law says this too.

I had an email last week from a Mr Andrews, at MenziesHouse.com. He was outraged that Ms Rinehart might be denied a voice on the board, once she buys a place on it. He wanted people to sign a petition to support her, and her right to speak at board meetings.

I wrote back and said that I would not, since she only wants the newspaper influence to help her political ambitions, and thinks she has the right to employ foreign workers to save her company money.

He replied to me, and quickly I might add, that he lives in America and doesn't really know much about her. WTF? Lol.

Fucking idiots, keep on promoting class warfare so you can get another carbon tax because Goldman Sachs needs to make a profit on their carbon credit trading houses.

OP is a God damn fool.

Why don't you ask a geologist, a paleontologist, or even an archeologist about past climate over a made up Earth Science which is still classified as a bachelor of ARTS program, unable to even be classified as a bachelor of SCIENCE because the undergradute program is goblety gook!

It is all a scam and all you idiots that promote climate change are going to get increased utility bills and food costs.

You need to have someone slap the stupid out of you!

Who currently owns the media, where did you even find out about global warming which morphed into climate to change to cover up the fact that temperatures haven't increased ino over a decade?

Everything you are spweing is simply regurgitated crap that already came from the media which is already bought and paid for.

Climate change is always in debate, with recent research showing it is not as bad as previously thought.
Of course we contribute but on a very small scale.
Two main facts to consider are.....

1. The Earths atmosphere temperature peaked in 1997 and has not raised since
Summary:
The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years.

The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.

[link to www.dailymail.co.uk]

[link to news.yahoo.com]

2. The sun has more influence on our weather more than we like to believe
Summary: NASA Study Acknowledges Solar Cycle, Not Man, Responsible for Past Warming

[link to www.dailytech.com]

As for Gina, she is trying to save herself some revenue and the government is just trying to collect it.
It really has nothing to do with the climate.
Yeah the government will lose 30m in the first year in pay outs, but how much will the make every year after.
The mining industry is the only one where its end user is overseas. As for energy fuel etc the cost will be past on with mark up to the consumer here in Australia, and they will slowly move to expensive clean alternatives when there are other options. Maybe the government should be investing and promoting ideas like this instead.

Maybe she is buying up media outlets so she can publish the truth about the climate change scam. That would be a good thing. Maybe people will get the truth about the climate change cult. It's about time the media covered the way the data has been manipulated by the cult scientists and the lame stream media.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
