Are you for real, thats so unhealthy and just as well he threw out your bacon grease as it would have been contaminated and crawling microbes. Your heading for a heart attack mate.

When I'm done frying an egg (in bacon grease), all I have to do is wipe it down with some salt, oil, and a paper towel, it looks clean as new!And thats a good thing... you not supposed to wash a cast iron skillet!
