I buy sunflower oil by the gallon for doing this, I get it from a soapmaking place, it's good stuff. I keep it in the refrigerator (in smaller bottles) and just have a couple of weeks worth out in a smaller plastic bottle in the cupboard.

It's in a bottle with a flip top so I can just put some directly in my mouth and not bother with a spoon.

Oil pulling definitely keeps me out of the dentist's office, knock wood.
