Rap has good qualities and bad qualities. Some good qualities are how the rapper expresses themselves. The music that gets to people, deep down inside. Rap music is so diverse and has so many different points of view. It can be very angry or violent. But then, can be very deep and meaningful, at the same time. Pop music on the other hand, is up beat. Pop music almost always has a main hook or theme. Also pop music could have techno in it as well.I think that even though rap and pop music are similar they also are very different. So the execs chose rap and got rid of Headbanger's Ball and got rid of any traces of metal on the radio. Also metal requires a whole band to pay and their travel expenses.
