Anonymous Coward User ID: 19516262 Australia 07/16/2012 03:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation	Went to take my money out of the bank todau lets say its above 20k and below 100k The teller said can't do it today not until wednesday and only half and then friday the rest for my own security i said nothing but i thought bullshit, she did slip and say some one else had some to pick up Tuesday . She also said only in 50s not 100s i'm thinking to myself what happens when the bank runs start.There telling me i have to wait almost a week to take my own cash out. So is withdrawals picking up in Australia. She did ask me why i said i don't trust the system anymore.Whats going on in the world.It's not a lot of money...

The credit union I use wouldn't let an amount like this be cashed outright. Part of it would have to be issued in cashier's checks to be placed into another account. I had a significant tax refund one year and had to make two trips to receive separate cashier's checks and cash.
