Texan here, and I don't condone animal bronc sports but, nope it doesn't twist their testicles.

It looks like a metal 3-d star like spur on a thin rope, when the bull leaves the corral someone pulls it taught and it gets tight and spurs the criter on it's very tender under belly.
They use it in horse bronc riding too.

From what I know, it makes the animals feel like they have a huge wasp stinging their underbelly so they try to kick to get the bee/wasp off.

It's a stupid and cruel sport.
