Wake Up! We did not make it to the moon or pass Van Allen's Belt (LETHAL radiation)

we orbited the moon, we did not land on it. The Van Allen's Belt does not prevent going to the moon, and the russians were there before us and still go there. Moon folks however, don't allow Americans and we can't get there any more anyway, moon folks blew up that silly thing that supposedly went to find water. It had a little bomb on it, was easy to blow up anyway

Yes, they landed on it with probes. That's how they knew the environment before they went with manned missions. They went AROUND the majority of the belts, through the thinnest outer edges

Double the thickness, halve the radiation.
Double again to 1.2cm, and the radiation is reduced to 25%.
That would be 6.0 Sv/year, or 6.0 Sv/8000 hours.

Transit time for 8 Re at 30,000 mph would be just over 2 hours.
That would mean a maximum exposure of 0.015 SV, which would not be much of anything to worry about, if only done twice/person, at least in the short term years. Satellite shield of 6mm aluminum would yield 0.03 SV under same circumstances. Still tolerable.
