TSA pulls backscatter full body scanners in 2 NY Airports

They plan on replacing them with a machine that's "just like a giant cell phone, don't worry, it's safe". If that isn't dumbing it down and making it pretty for the sheeple, I don't know what is. I wouldn't go near either type of machine.

I look at this as a good thing. These machine were about $$. Not safety.

I always opt out. I damn sure don't want them microwaving me.

When they pull all of them out of airports, and the TSA with them, I will consider flying again. I haven't been on a plane since the scanners were installed. I flew several times with the gestapo searches, but that was too much, too. If the airlines want to make money, they need to get TSA out of the airports. I have put a lot of miles on my cars in the last few years, and I've seen alot of America that you can't see from an airplane.

its bs, they are upgrading the tech and will install new machines. The old one will go to smaller airports.

Now TSA removing more machines from major airports and moving them to more rural locations...
