the Sammi shaman would use these mushrooms for spiritual perposes,there is a certain time of year that the Shaman's would have to be very vigilant as not to let the raindeer herds near the trees where these mushrooms grew,as the raindeer love these mushrooms, but they cause them to act in a very pecular way,they will start Jumping and leaping,and thats how santa got his raindeer,oh yeah the shaman dressed just like santa!..................

story about santa clouse is about siberian shamans who delivered dried mushrooms to winter houses who would be coverd with snow so he goes trough the chimney... its what it is,it feeds of of dead materials so u have that included...

I've tried amanita and it was a much more intense experience than psilocybin. The hallucination and disjointedness from reality had me clenching my teeth waiting to come down. Not sure I'd do it again.

A Muscaria has more similarities to mescaline than psilocybin.

I have just ordered some Muscaria caps. I would like to have small amounts for well being. I don't neccesarily want to trip. Any suggestions for a small size dose for a first ingestion? I was just gonna have a nibble like Alice and take it from there. If I like it, I am packing up and going to live with the Chuchki! Thanks Ruski.

There's a reason psilocybin is illegal and amanita is not. psilocybin is waaay trippier. Like someone on this thread said, amanita is more like mescaline than psilocybin shrooms, which are more like dmt than anything else.

Thanks, not very helpful to me. I have done acid but not shrooms, so I can't really relate to the experience. I am not out to trip like crazy. I want the well being and insight.

Get a permit to raise a couple of caribou, then order a bunch of amanitas and feed it to them. Then drink their pee. This will give you the purest amanita experience.

You are funny. I live in the suburbs, I can't even have chickens :( Also, I have rolled it over in my mind, back and forth, I just won't be able to drink my own pee, or anyone else's for that matter.

it's the caribou (or, more usually reindeer's) milk that is drunk. The shaman's pee is drunk, as his body filters out the thing that makes you sick. The Russians thought this was gross, and tried to get the indigenous people to drink vodka, but they thought that drinking fermented potatoes was gross. lol. cultural perceptions. Anyway, best to dry the caps thoroughly; in Siberia they grow near berry bushes, the people grind the mushroom with berries, and drink the juice. This also filters out the muscarene.
