in vic you cannot say no.Two years ago you could,but now they are mandatory and you cannot say no, no matter how many petions you sign.

I don't think so at all, if anything we're waking up. I see everyday, more and more people are becoming aware and interested in the dangers of pesticides, gmo foods and growing their own organic vegetables, the fluoride in the water and much more. It might not be much, but it's a start! A revolution is coming!!

the first time they tried i did and the guy left, there was an option to register and say no at that stage(about july 2011 was first time they tried), second time (feb last year) they had changed the law so refusing installation wasnt viable.Mandatory for every house to have them in every home by 2013, but the opt out option was axed at the end of 2011 i think(i could check if youd like.)
I dont even want to write here the story that happened, but believe me youve not been able to refuse installation for well over a year.try it and see what happens.
Try asking them to remove it see what happens.
try talk to your friends and family and see what happens.

i am a direct seller of electricity, gas, etc. My company bypasses the smart meter and you pay a fixed rate. No kidding. This saves homeowners and business owners alike from a lot of unnecessary heartache.

Geez, just do like i did, wrap the smartmeter in aluminum foil, fold it so the escaping radio waves are pointing to the street. That way they can't tell if they are in control of your appliances or not cause it still registers to them. tech might be up there on the rise but directionality is still limited to LOS in the radiation world( line of sight)
