Nope. I think what happened is that people heard it in Beech Grove too (it was LOUD and heard/felt for up to 70 miles away). No one knew what or where it was at first, it was just loud and felt like it was close wherever you were locally. I think it was a guess more or less.

i was outside that night (i live in north beech grove) i heard it loud and clear but sorry, no screaming voices lol. i think we all know what it was by now. they still dont know what caused it and its slowly fading out of the news broadcasts, they seem to think it was intentionally set by someone. i heard two noises at almost the exact same time. i thought it was my neighbor kicking or banging on the wall since my music was halfway loud.

Marion County - A series of explosions rattled the south side of Indianapolis near Beech Grove Tuesday. The explosions were part of an exercise led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, primarily for those who work in corporate security. About 60 people attended.

"This gives them a basis of knowledge to understand what explosives look like and the devastating effects," said Danny Barkley, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Indianapolis Office.

those ^^^ were from the practice drills they were doing a while back in some old abandoned housing projects. those have been torn down and are just an empty field now at the corner of emerson ave and raymond st.
those were crazy, paramilitary looking folks repelling off roofs, explosions, gunfire etc..
just practice, though.. heh..

the most recent explosion was from a house(s) that exploded further south near sherman and stop 11 on the far south side of town. im 6-7 miles north and heard it loud and clear, 2 blasts at nearly the same time. search arounf wthr for images, it was monsterous. they still havent given an official reason for the blast but its now a homicide investigation. 15 search warrants have been served but no arrests have been made as of today. the news is trying to sway it towards a gas related explosion but the gas company says it was not. alot of folks seem to think it was a missle strike.. it sure looks the part but theres no evidence of helicoptors or jets in the area.
