Id say in the scientific community, there was some type of "race" to see who could analyse it properly first.

How many mountain lion bones do "they" have? How about a skeleton from a panda?

Do you know when the panda was officially discovered and recognized? About 100 years ago.

Could they mean Bigfoot is a 'hybrid' in that his ORIGIN is from crossbreeding human and something else many generations ago? I think Bigfoot creatures are fertile and reproduce among themselves in the present time; to think otherwise would mean that each Bigfoot is a separate product of mating human with 'other'.

There is soooo much anecdotal sightings and encounters of bigfoot, yeti, sasquatch etc that there must be something to it - the DNA analysis seems to be kosher on the face of it.


And yet.....................it is simply not plausible that these critters,who have generated so much interest, could remain so hidden for so long, without definite proof.

Unless they have some sort of interdimensional abilities.

There is documented evidence of a bigfoot interbreeding with humans in Kazakhstan in the late 19th century. So either way they are most likely very closely related to humans. The "bigfoot" female was captured and gave birth to a few children from local villagers.

Google 'bigfoot zana' if interested.

There has been definite proof, but nobody believes it.

They are highly intelligent animals adapted to survival in heavily forested areas, and are masters of stealth. If you go looking for one, you are entering THEIR home environment. They will know you are coming from miles way. And they know how to avoid detection.

First of all, Dr Melba Ketchum has been around for YEARS. She first was noticed by most of us back in 2008 when she received hair samples from the show "Destination Truth" about The Yeti on the SyFi Channel. The hair samples she tested came back as "unknown primate" and that is where here interest and research on Bigfoot type creatures began.

Her Lab in Texas became the Lab where many suspected Bigfoot hair, fecal, flesh, etc, samples were sent and from those samples she found the evidence to publish her paper for peer review.

If they have several "unknown primate" samples from different animals that match...that is how a news species is proven to exist.

They have "alleged" Bigfoot DNA samples that are coming back "unknown primate". If those samples do not match any other animal in the MILLIONS of sequences they have on file...yet these "unknown primate" samples match each other, then you have a new species.

It is genus homo, so this is truly a huge deal.

If this passes peer review, it could change everything from evolution to religion.

All jokes aside this is why most of us come to sites like this...something IMPOSSIBLE may be happening before our eyes, and we do not appreciate it.

Okay so I live in a small town in Alaska and I have a friend who's dad works at a tour river rafting company and he said that one of the guides found really long fur or whatever up the river somewhere and confirmed that it was bigfoot at a lab(long story short, I don't remember the rest of the story or if they actually saw the bigfoot..don't know any details)

Also, my mom is from a small village in western Alaska and there was people who claimed they saw bigfoot at a village next to the village my mom is from. I think they saw it from a plane and it went underwater and they didn't see it again.. so creepy! At least it stays away from people (I'm assuming)

I for one do believe that Bigfoot, Yeti etc exist and that there are probably thousends of undocumented sightings that we don't know about because of the bias and ridicule that people get when they come forward with stories about them. Now it sounds like we have DNA proof at last..
