Just looking at it on my way in to work... figured I'd post to see if anyone else noticed. But the opposite is true, In Dec-Jan the Earth is nearest the Sun while in July it’s farthest away .. I'm well aware of that, I just never realized that we're actually closer to the sun in December than in June. Learn something new every day. |
