The word 'should' is prescriptive and its encompassing narrative is by nature local at best.

Here is the problem with your proposed things we 'should" be doing....

First and foremost,... people are NOT inherently good at all. You can tell them what they should be doing all day long and they will eventually do what comes naturally to them anyways.

Second... Any society without authority/government would be in a political state we affectionately call ANARCHISM. (does this ring a bell?) No rules to hold one back from doing anything they please. Problem with this is what one person 'pleases' to do may offend you or another. This creates all kinds of fun. Imagine walking down the street with your toddler and lo' and behold a beautiful couple (you choose the sexuality) are bumpin' uglies with no regard of others around.

third....all the wishing for a perfect progressive/socialistic society where there is no hunger, poverty, disrespect.... is just that....wishing.

GOD is the only individual who could possibly create such a society, but then, even Lucifer wanted out of that utopia. Bottom line? People are never happy. It all sounds wonderful but people, when left to their own devices, will allow greed and lust to rule their world. EVEN good people fall from grace every so often.

I believe America/USA came the closest to creating a workable experiment of a country with as much freedom as can be allowed with the ultimate conrtol going to the vote of the people. When we started to mess with the Declaration of Independance and abandoned GOD as our guide, we began a long and painful fall. This is why so many other countries hate us now.

We were the shining example that a people, even though diverse, could exist together in harmony. Then we began to hate our own freedom too much to understand we would deny ourselves that which we craved when we came here. No amount of Obama care will level things.

The BRASS RING needs to return to the playing field. Achieving excellence and success is the driving element. True hope must return. Giving someone food only feeds them for a day. Teaching them to succeed and achieve will show true greatness.

The country who can do that, will prosper.

by the way i have seeds of every kind for that day walmart closes down, part of returning to nature
even today i harvested my sunflower seeds and have enough to feed the whole city if i plant them all next season
