So true, and I realize I have many silver linings in my life and I am indeed sweating very small stuff...Long story short is I have worked at the same company for 28 years, since I was a young woman and now I am an older woman. My many mentors have retired recently and now I sit with a feeling of isolation in a place that I have been for a very long time. I miss my mentors who have retired onto greener pastures and am crying like a baby at the changes coming on...it's all Bullshit and I will survive it...I work from a home "satellite" office and have done so for 19 of the 28 years I have worked for this employer and now that my rocks have left I feel I am afloat...without them...I don't feel a part of my workplace anymore...I feel so alone without my rocks that have left.

I recognise the feeling. It is difficult to focus on your own strenght with these changes. You will be alright.

I am just sobbing in my self pity and I will be over it by morning. I have too many things to be so thankful for in my life and this too shall pass!!

Feel free to PM me anytime as I think you're an incredibly kind person but I will be fine....I am just shredding off my crappy crap and will be fine once I do.. Why do I care to share it??? I don't know! They say it's healthy to get this shit out right?
