For me, my signature represents our 5 physical senses, and our 5 spiritual senses. (Discernment/second sight, etc.) [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

Been to Oregon over 30 times on many many trips. Been eaten by hordes of mosquitos and been choked-out by 19 forest fires up there where I couldn't even see most of Crater Lake from the big NPS lodge there. Skied 1500-1600 vertical feet in August - til 2 PM - one year (and more) above the 1937-CCC/WP Lodge there. Microbreweriues in Portland. camping near Howard Prairie Reservoir and at Hyatt Lake and Crescent Lake. Downtown Bend is fun. Took the Amtrak over the Cascades Mts and down into Eugene, beautiful scenery and lots of tunnels. Did some MTBiking on nasty red cinder BLM roads thru the wet forest south of Mt McLoughlin. Oregon IS a beautiful state though. But they have alot of old hippies out in those woods, and the young people don't like outsiders much. Great place if you like to do shrooms found in the cow pastures after it rains (alot). :fireplace: "Remember when we used to treat colds and flu with chicken soup, saltwater gargles and warm tea instead of Communism?" |

Looking at coastal towns, Florence sounds perfect, but it's over three hours to the Portland airport. Santa Fe, where I'm at now, is changing fast. Not in a good way. The one and only hospital had to lock down last night because of a shoot out between Banditos bike gang and another. Some of the Banditos were in the ER, and it was just like a movie, the other gang absolutely focused on coming into the hospital and finishing them off! Really? How foolish to think we (as in everyone here) were in a safe zone. It's slowly creeping up . . . |
