The innovation was the EFFECT and that 1900’s capitalism was THE CAUSE !

THE CAUSE.
A new economic system(never heard in Europe before) having:
1. Only Gold & Silver money (not paper BankNotes),
2. NO central bank
3. NO TAXES on what you earned, no property taxes and no taxes over the profit made by companies (and no IRS)

Because of these three simple causes, the effect was
1. An incredible boom in Innovation, leading to more exports and a bigger appetite for even more innovation.

Well, the European monarchies freaked out and did what they did - They 'gave you' the FED, IRS and the paper dollar.

America is no longer the INNOVATION engine of this planet.
