Strange lights over Anchorage (Alaska) before earthquake / wind storm

Firstly, my mom was on facebook and she was talking about someone she knows who posted about seeing weird lights where they live in a small village in western Alaska (we live somewhere else). Other people from around that area also commented about seeing weird lights. One persons car turned off under a weird light. Another person so a 'craft' of some sort while they were on their boat and it stopped right above them and zoomed back up out of sight in the sky (something like that). It was on my moms facebook and I was just reading over her shoulder so I don't know very many details.

Anyways, this got me to look up weird lights in Alaska on Google. I found these websites (there is Youtube videos on each):

I don't think the above lights in Anchorage have much to do as the ones seen in the small village, but I don't really know. You can also Google strange lights in Alaska and more things will pop up.
