Rabbits Wreaking Havoc On Cars At DIA... | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 4032947 United States 01/27/2013 09:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This sounds very strange to me because I know a bit about rabbits and can't really see them doing something like this considering cars are loud and scary to an animal like a rabbit. I used to raise them as pets and understand a bit about their behavior. Quoting: BAD WOLF Still pretty funny if it was, still doesn't sound plausible though. DENVER (CBS4) Travelers have a warning for drivers who park their cars near Denver International Airport (DIA). Rabbits are chewing the wires under many cars costing owners a lot of money. The rabbits get in and chew the brake lines, the clutch lines and other wiring. Local car repair shops estimates they can do thousands of dollars in damage.... Link: [link to denver.cbslocal.com] Wow...Denver airport. Never saw anything f'd up coming out of that place before. Probably some freaking project to train rabbits to do the dirty work of the NWO. /release the rabbits |

"They cannot see what's-up if They are looking down." (TastyThoughts) "Something is smelly! Something is smelly, like an old barnacle encrusted shoe washing ashore in the middle of summer." (TastyThoughts) "Yes happy Earth day. Now go tell the wicked to stop damaging the Human Species therefore/and the Earth; For, they are discombobulating the entire Universe and upsetting the Most High God." (TastyThoughts) |

LOL LOL User ID: 33161761 United States 01/27/2013 10:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | LOL LOL :) :) . I live in Denver. I had to go into the article to see how old it was because this was in the news years ago. I laughed when I saw the article was just a few days ago. DIA is out on the Eastern Plains so lots of small ground critters.Yes the small ground critter chew the crap out of the underside of any car left out in a field here. Squirrels, mice, bunnies, prairie dogs .... There are several parking lots just off DIAs property owned by private companies. Basically they laid a slab of concrete in the middle of a field/farm country and charge people to park. When we went to Florida for two weeks 7 years ago we parked in one of those lots. It was cheaper for long term then the lots on DIA property and yes we watched bunnies hopping all over that lot. When they scrapped the bran new state of the art baggage system shortly after DIA opened they just put all the hardware out in a field on proprty among the runways. We all joked about the muti-million dollar bunny playground. |
